Positive: We like most everything about it. Was nice to be able to open windows (except wasn't able to open the window in the room with double beds) It was very enjoyable.
Negative: A little more cleared trail to the beach, Meaning....removing some of the rocks, so its smoother to walk on. Back door was blocked (safety hazarded). No washer and dryer, as stated in your list of amenities. (was very disappointed was none) Would of like a instruction for use of Television, and thermostat

Positive: We loved the yard for our dogs!! The easy access to the beach and the great view! This cabin is absolutely charming!!

Positive: We enjoyed the location, the privacy and the easy access to a great sandy beach. The bedrooms are adequate and beds are comfortable, kitchen is large and outfitted adequately. There is a fire pit and large picnic table on the front lawn. This made feeding groups easy. The wood interior is warm and cozy and the furniture is durable, comfortable and not fussy. It is a house where families with children and dogs can relax.
Negative: The word to remember when renting this house, is “rustic”. It is a 65 year old vacation cabin. If the house were mine, I would change the upstairs bedroom windows to larger sizes that open. The upstairs gets very hot when it is sunny, even when shades are down and the door is left open. Some box fans would help. A sturdy screen door would be good. Another inexpensive upgrade, would be an outside hose to wash off sandy feet. There is only one bathroom. The house has great charm, but is not fancy.
Summary: We liked Rustic Retreat, but it would not fit the needs of someone looking for luxury.
