Relax with the whole family at this peaceful rustic place to stay. This is a beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bath house with 2 kitchens and a bar!
The upstairs has a master bedroom with private his and hers along with 2 other bedrooms upstairs, another bathroom, living room, kitchen, and dining room with attached den/seating area. Downstairs is another bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a futon, kitchen, bathroom, and bar that seats 9!
Down at the water we have a dock for all your water activities.

As you walk through the front door you will be welcomed by a rustic modern foyer.
The upstairs living room has a couch and 2 large chairs with footrest. The full kitchen upstairs has all high-profile appliances and all cooking utensils for all your cooking needs. The dining room has a beautiful table that seats 6 along with another high-top dining table that seats 6 more and a kitchen island that can seat another 2. Total kitchen seating upstairs is 14. Total kitchen/bar seating downstairs is 9.
The Master bedroom is on the first floor with its own private bathroom with his and her sink. There are 2 more bedrooms on this first floor. One with a full-sized crib and one without. The bathroom is across the hall from both of these bedrooms, and the washer and dryer are also in that bathroom.
As we make our way downstairs you will walk into the downstairs full kitchen with a bar that seats 9! The living room is also in this large open space with an L-shaped couch and chair. Behind the living room is the last bedroom. This bedroom has a futon as well.
The downstairs bathroom is located next to the patio door and behind the bar for easy convenient access.
After walking out of the downstairs sliding glass doors you will be on the patio deck with a table that seats 6 and a Blackstone grill. There is another patio set upstairs on the deck as well that seats 4.
The fire pit is to the far right of the downstairs deck closest to the wood line.
Now to the water!! Making your way down to the water you will see our dock which is approximately 85ft long and 6ft wide with an 8x10 swim platform at the very end. This dock can hold no more than 2 pontoon boats and 2 small water crafts (jet-skis). Depending on the water levels and the time of year, the space may be limited depending on the dock and water.
One of our favorite places to eat is just a short 5-minute boat ride across the bay to Lakeside Tavern. They have live music, outdoor seating/bar area, and fantastic food!!
We are about 30 mins from the Saratoga Race Track!!!

Summary: We had a wonderful, relaxing week at the lake. The setting of the house beautiful and peaceful. The house itself was as promised/pictured and very clean. It was the most well equipped house we have ever rented, especially the kitchen. Darrin was very communicative leading up to our stay as well as during the week if needed to touch base during the week.

Summary: Interior layout with two dining areas nice for eating in and socializing with three generations. Vacation highlights included renting boat to explore Sacandaga Lake, eating at historic Hotel Broadalbin and visiting the National Bottle Museum.

Summary: We had an amazing time at this beautiful house. The home has everything you need and more. It is very clean!! Lots of extra blankets and pillows. There are TV's in every room. The air conditioner is great! The washer and dryer were also so convenient. It rained so that put a damper on our stay and the area near the dock was super muddy but otherwise, we had a very nice time!

Summary: The house was perfect. It was very spacious and worked well for our family. The house was very clean and well stocked with any supplies you needed. Beds were very comfortable. Beware there is a very steep hill down to the water. Unfortunately for us the owner gave permission for a neighbor to move the dock for a wedding they were having. It was moved into a very weedy and mucky area and also a section of the dock was being repaired so we were unable to swim and even fishing was more difficult. The owner did not communicate this prior to our stay. I did call him and he explained the situation. The neighbor was supposed to move the dock back but never did during our entire stay. Also the neighbor had a large tent set up that completely blocked our view of the lake for two days. I realize this is not an everyday occurrence but unfortunately for us this was what we had to deal with. We went there to swim and fish. If the dock had been in place and not missing a section I think it would have been doable even though the water level was low.

Summary: Very nice house and location. We brought our boats and spent most of the time on the lake. Beautiful weather and Sand Island is a good time. Would recommend.

Summary: The house is absolutely perfect for a group of friends and/ or family. Jodi and Darren couldn't make it any easier to book and stay at this house. The house is right on the water, clean and spacious. We will definitely be booking here again.

Summary: We had 3 families, totaling 9 people, stay for 10 days. We were there to celebrate my brother's 60th birthday. Everyone said the beds were very comfortable. We have been doing family vacation rentals for 15 years and my brother said this was the nicest one ever! The 2 teenage boys really liked the basement and foosball table. Because we had lots of people, having 2 refrigerators was great. We spent lots of time on the swim dock - using floating toys and just swimming around. WE did not use the 2 kayaks provided, but we brought 4 of our own and went kayaking almost every day-- loves of bays and inlets to explore. If you plan to use the waterfront a lot, just be aware that the water's edge is mucky. IF you have toddlers, it will be too mucky to enjoy right at the water's edge. However, we had no problem launching our kayaks and swimming off the dock. This place was immaculately clean and the attention to details was terrific -- the fake fireplace and candles on when we arrived, we really felt like we were being pampered on vacation.

Summary: Place was clean and perfectly decorated for the lake. Plenty of room for all 8 of us and the basement was great for all to gather at the bar. Darren was quick to respond with any questions we had for the place and was a great host. To our surprise there was kayaks to fish with and a closet full of extra chairs - tables and even a cooler for the dock area. We are looking forward to coming back and staying longer on the lake. Highly recommend for a lake rental in the area.
