Brand new custom-built home at Saddleback on Magalloway Loop! Enjoy spectacular views from the beautiful deck.

The construction of the Saddleback Chalet was completed in July 2022, with the interior décor completed in December. It has all the modern conveniences with the look & feel of a traditional European mountain chalet. The home is well insulated and airtight - the forced heat recovery ventilation and heat pumps guarantee comfortable climates all year around.

On the ground level, there is an ample entry mud room designed with sports in mind. A large bunk room sleeps up to six people with two queen size beds and two upper twin bunks for kids. This bedroom has a smart TV as well. The ground floor has its own bathroom with double sinks, shower and heated floors. Also, on the ground floor, you'll find a large laundry room, a bonus games room and a utility closet.

Upstairs are two identical primary bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms with shower and heated floors. Each bedroom also has a private patio positioned to catch the afternoon sun. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living and dining area which comfortably seats up to 10 people. The wall mounted swivel smart TV provides viewing from both living & dining areas. Build a fire in the traditional wood stove. Enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains and Saddleback Lake – either from the large picture windows or outside on the deck.

In keeping with its Alpine look, the Saddleback Chalet is furnished with traditional pine furniture and textiles creating a true mountain living experience. The chalet is situated on the western side of the two-acre property. Heading east you will land at the Saddleback Mountain Lodge, less than a two minute drive or an easy 10 minute walk.

Summary: The house was excellent! Everything was clean and tidy and the perfect size for our family. The kids loved the game room and everyone had their own space, but the option to connect and play card games, watch movies, etc. We will definitely be back!

Summary: We spent an an idyllic weekend at Saddleback . The chalet we rented is lovely. Modern. Clean as a whistle. Everything we needed was provided. They came and plowed and sanded the driveway promptly after a lovely snowfall. Beds were comfy. Showers were hot. The woodstove was cheery company and we kept it going all weekend. We will come again!

Summary: Amazing views, very clean and modern with a rustic woodsy feel. We absolutely loved this stay :) skied saddle back and rented snowmobiles for a day from Mountain View adventures and ate at the Rangeley inn (very good breakfast) park side and Maine also had very good food :)

Summary: I can't emphasize enough how beautiful and comfortable this chalet is. We spent the weekend here and felt like we were in the lap of luxury. The main living and kitchen area is open and modern while still feeling cozy with wrap around sofas and a woodstove. We never ate out because we didn't want to leave! The kitchen is fabulous to cook in and the whole space looks out over Rangeley lake far down below and the mountains all around - spectacular! All the bedrooms are lovely, the bathrooms elegant, and the beds are very comfortable - a must after a long day skiing at Saddleback (our favorite mountain Maine) which is an extremely convenient 2 minute drive away. We would love to go back!

Summary: My family stayed at this beautiful property during the week of school vacation. We were a multi-generational group ranging in age from 58 to 3 years of age. The internal layout of the property is absolutely PERFECT as my son, his wife and children were able to use the first floor to themselves, and we all could gather together on the beautiful second floor, with large open floor space. Our hostess was communicative without being intrusive. Check-in and check-out were easy. The whole house is brand new, with modern appliances, and families will find what they need to be extremely comfortable during their stay. We highly recommend this for other families who wish to visit the Rangeley area.
