Positive: We had an absolutely amazing experience at Safari Desert Camp! As a family of four, we were all thoroughly impressed by every aspect of our stay. The huts were clean and exactly as shown in the pictures — no unpleasant surprises, just beautiful simplicity and comfort. The meals were another highlight of our stay — both breakfast and dinner were generous, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. We truly enjoyed every bite. The activities we tried were fantastic and unforgettable. From the adrenaline-filled quad bike ride to the peaceful camel ride and the thrilling dune bashing — everything was well-organized, safe, and full of adventure. A special thank you goes to Omar, our host, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available to help with anything we needed. His hospitality truly made our stay exceptional. If we could, we would give them 11 stars! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience.

Positive: Already the drive to the camp was amazing. Easy way for 4wd, nice views, camels. My inner turist was happy. In the camp very comfy accomodation, nice walks for sunset/sunrise spots, many optional activities. And the food - the food (dinner and breakfast) was another highlight of the trip to the desert - best in the 10 days I have stayed in Oman.

Positive: The host was super nice and welcoming. The cabins are cute and clean. It is not a small camp but there were very rare guests at the time we've been there. From the duins right next to the camp you have a nice view for sunset and sunrise. At nighttimes you can see lots of stars even from inside the camp. You can walk a bit outside to get a better view. To get to the camp you have to have a 4x4 since it is quite far into the desert. It is a 18 km offroad drive but duable with the right car. Checkin-in is at an office in the city close by. You can pay by card. They give you the coordinates of the location where you have to enter the desert. From there you just go straight on the sandy path. Navigating is simple and in the camp you have service again. Dinner and breakfast is nice (buffet). There are enough vegetarian and vegan options.
Negative: Nothing to complain.
