Positive: The location was excellent, right in town and five minutes walk from a large free carpark. The breakfasts were good and plentiful.
Negative: There was nowhere to hang clothes or drawers to put them in. The room was large and had furniture but all the spaces were full of bedding, towels etc. We had the room with a private bathroom next door but there were no locks on any of the doors, anyone could have walked in by mistake. The bathroom was dated and not much space to put anything. The hot water took about 5 minutes to come through. There was no room service i.e. cleaning, bed making, although we were there for a few nights.
Summary: A beautiful house and a charming and obliging host but let down by a lack of basic amenities.

Positive: This property is beautiful. Our host Damien and his mother-in-law, could not have been nicer. They were so welcoming and kind. The house itself is gorgeous, clean and comfortable, and the bedroom was spacious. There is a massive garden at the back, along with a swimming pool. It felt like we were staying in a typical French chateau, although it's actually a mansion house. The location is excellent too. I would 100% recommend staying at this beautiful place. They have got the sweetest, most lovely old dog, too, who loves to be petted. Breakfast is optional, we had it & it was delicious & plentiful.
Negative: Absolutely nothing. Our stay was perfect!
Summary: 100% recommend this place - visit and you won't be disappointed.
