Positive: The ambience of Salt is lovely- not high end hotel but not budget either- the staff really do make the resort. We used the pool throughout the day especially when we returned from our day of touring on their rental scooter- it was pretty hot there during our stay. It's a little bit of a walk to other cafes/restaurants but you can always walk along the beach. Salt's restaurant also had a nice dinner menu ( best food we had in Amed) and their happy hour cocktails were great. Their breakfast has some healthy options which was appreciated and it can be delivered to your terrace.

Negative: The bathroom needed an update in our beachfront suite (Superior Suite w/ sea view). There was construction noise from the property next door, so all the rooms on the same side of Salt would have been affected. It went from about 8:30 am until about 8pm and one night until 11pm. If it weren't for these 2 things we would have rated Salt higher.

Positive: Rooms are big, beds are super comfy, and staying in Little Salt next door was no problem at all. You can reach the restaurant by walking inside the compound or you can reach it by walking the beach for 30 seconds. Overall it was a very pleasant stay, very quiet and relaxing. Shout out to all the staff at Salt!!! <3

Negative: The general staff was absolutely lovely. All staff from the bar/restaurant to the receptionist, to the pool cleaners: absolute hero's who tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Attentive, friendly, helpful! However, there was a 'general manger' (I assume) who treated the rest of the staff disrespectfully. So much so that it made us very uncomfortable. His presence did not add to the general atmosphere. Maybe he needs to be educated on how to manage the staff in a respectful way??? Just a suggestion!

Positive: Everything. Salt Resort & Spa truly exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, right by the ocean, and perfectly maintained. The staff were some of the kindest and most attentive people I’ve met; they always greeted us with genuine warmth and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The room was clean, spacious, and very well prepared, with thoughtful touches that showed great attention to detail. The pool and surrounding areas were spotless and incredibly relaxing. Overall, the property has a really calm, boutique feel that makes you instantly unwind. I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend Salt to anyone visiting Amed.

Negative: The fact that there was no tv, the black beach was full of rubbish, a rooster kept on waking us up every morning around 5:00 am. The surroundings were very miserable.

Positive: Nice and deep pool! Staff was helpful in arranging a tour and transport. The restaurant staff was also very nice! Comfortable bed and good breakfast. Good stay for a few nights.

Negative: They don’t clean the beach outside the property so lots of rubbish. Only 6 sunbeds by the pool but there really is no room for more either. They have some more on the beach

Positive: we liked the rooms, the restaurant, the closeness to the ocean and the staff

Negative: The first night we stayed in room one and we couldn’t sleep all night due to the road noise and the motorcycles and the barking dogs. The second night we stayed close to the ocean and it was wonderful so don’t stay in room one or two and then it will be probably fine.

Summary: A nice place to stay as long as you don’t get rooms one or two
