Modern two story single family home with lake views on beautifully landscaped 2.5 acre property with a secured fenced in yard.
The home is a classic example of open concept living. A gourmet kitchen with Viking appliances is open to a cozy living and dining area with a wood burning fireplace. An expansive porch offers distant water and preserved countryside views. Relax in one of the many rocking chairs with a cool drink and good book.
This home also features three large master suites with private bathrooms. One bedroom suite is located on the first floor, perfect for seniors. The first floor suite also has direct access to a private screen porch. Two bedroom suites are located on the second floor and share a loft area and balcony. Both the first floor porches and second floor balcony overlook Loch Raven Reservoir.
Outdoor amenities feature a new saltwater 16' x 42' sports pool, six person hot tub, gas fire pit and outdoor dinning terrace. An additional wood burning firepit is separate and away from the pool area overlooking a generous lawn area perfect for bocci, croquet, or volleyball with lots of room for the kids to run.
Convenient access is provided to Loch Raven Reservoir and the Gunpowder River with recreational amenities that include hiking, mountain biking, fishing and kayaking. A short drive takes you to several local wineries and breweries, Oregon Ridge Nature Center, Ladew Topiary Gardens, Hunt Valley Town Center and/or Towson Town Center.
High speed Verizon fiber optic Wifi is available for those Zoom family or office meetings.
The house is also equipped with a Sonos sound system that includes built in speakers throughout the house and porches to hear your favorite music from your own private digital music collection. Just download the Sonos app on your phone and you are in charge of the entertainment.
Security system and outdoor security cameras are provided for your safety and comfort.

Summary: Without a doubt, I would stay again. Beautifully decorated, gorgeous artwork, and full of style...I talking magazine cover worthy. We were up for my mom's funeral and really needed a comfortable place to be together. It had everything we needed, and then some. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time we were there, and was unreasonably cold, so we couldn't enjoy the gorgeous deck and screened-in porch as much as we wanted. But some of my family did use the hottub and commented that it was awesome. The inside furnishings were cozy and welcoming, which made up for that weather.Russell and Mark were very considerate of our privacy, although I do wish we could have met. I am hopeful we were as thoughtful of them. Totally enjoyed ourselves and recommend to potential renters. In closing, I highly recommend this rental. Wonderful, relaxing stay.

Summary: We loved our time here! The house is so well designed and laid out. It was exceptionally clean and kept up! The owners could not be nicer, and clearly take pride in their home. It was a perfect get away for our family!

Summary: This home is well laid out, well decorated, and the owners are well organized. It is tasteful, has everything that you could need, and still conveys a beautiful humility. The grounds and outdoor living space create a serene and peaceful retreat. Mark and Russ were wonderful as well.

Summary: Property was set nicely far back off the main road. The house and outside had nice technology features the best part of the house is the outside with the pool and hot tub and large patio. The owner was also very helpful with anything we asked or needed I would love to stay here again.

Summary: House and pool were beautiful and clean. Property felt tucked away but had great views of the wilderness near the reservoir and was only 8-10 mins from lots of food options. Hosts were helpful and communicative. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Summary: This getaway destination was everything we hoped for and more! Our family of six - including adult daughters and a son-in-law - had a memorable time all around. The venue itself offered all the comforts of home - beautifully appointed bedrooms with 2 king bedded suites and 1 queen bedded room, each with extra seating areas, tons of relaxation spaces to be together and apart, an AMAZING pool with ample lounges and umbrellas for shade, gorgeous landscaping to bring birds and butterflies galore, and a wrap around porch with rocking chairs & ceiling fans for a cool escape. The kitchen had everything you could want and then some! I could go on and on! Russ and Mark were amazing hosts and helped navigate an unavoidable delay when the entire surrounding community lost power for 3 days, JUST as we were due to arrive! They kept in constant touch and we were able to salvage four days of our week long vacation. Many thanks and can’t wait to return in the future!

Summary: The house is absolutely stunning! The kitchen is fabulous and extremely well stocked. The bedrooms and bathrooms are huge and beautifully furnished and the screened-in porch was our favorite room of the house. The pool and the landscaping were incredible and we spent a lot of time enjoying the fabulous outdoor space. Thank you Russel and Mark for a fantastic stay! We really enjoyed it

Summary: What an incredible property! The home and the views are absolutely stunning! This property has everything you could ever possibly think of to make for a wonderful family vacation! The area is full of activities for everyone - mountain biking, hiking, equestrian (we sent our daughter to camp at Graham Equestrian Center - highly recommend), restaurants, farmers markets…. And we spent every afternoon relaxing by the fabulous pool! Mark and Russ were incredible hosts! We can’t wait to come back.

Summary: Top to bottom 5 star VRBO. Starting with the most gracious of hosts Russ and Mark went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their home is extremely well appointed. Bedding is high on our list and theirs did not disappoint! Three complete master suites allowed my wife and I and our two adult children, one with partner, to have comfortable time together and complete privacy while apart. There are so many well designed spaces to enjoy and we spent time in each one during our stay. Coffee on the screened porch and long deck with rocking chairs facing east in the morning, lounging by the pool during the day with a beautiful overlook to the natural yet well manicured landscape, and evenings on the patio under the stars some nights in the hot tub. The setting is serine with a variety of birds to watch around the large property and a long range view to Loch Raven. Can't say enough about this VRBO, you will surely enjoy.
