Positive: My family and I traveled from NC. We needed a place to relax near the best beaches in Florida. Salty Pool Escape was just right.
Negative: To be honest, if I wanted to nit pick, I could, but this home checked off every required box. From the amount of space, nearby beaches, to the private enclosed backyard pool.

Negative: It was advertised as a heated pool. It also had a waterfall . Neither worked while we were there . Pool cleaner came Monday morning and water fall worked while he was there . It wasn't like we were going to use the pool ,but it is advertised as heated

Negative: I've been in places where they've had heated pools in colder places. I couldn't get in this one. It didn't get heated up enough for us to get one swim in. It was beautiful though.

Positive: The house was plenty big enough for our family of 13. The host kept in contact with me throughout our stay. Easy check-in and check-out instructions. Plenty of linens were provided.
Negative: Upon arriving, we noticed the front door was open and the house had not been cleaned. I have always been able to check into my rental house at least an hour early, but we ran all of our errands before checking in due to the strict check-in time. I informed the host that the home was not cleaned, and thankfully, he was quick to find a resolution. Unfortunately, we had to leave the house for 2 hours while the house was cleaned, which was an inconvenience to us because we had already wasted so much time before checking in. The main back sliding door does not lock. It has been broken into before and is completed busted out. Now, this is the door that takes you straight out to the pool, we had small children staying with us, and this was a huge safety issue for us. The thermostat kept being changed on us from 68 to 72. Every time we would change it, it would be changed back to 72 except at night when no one was controlling it from the app. This was extremely frustrating, and the host assured me we were in full control of the thermostat but also mentioned being able to change it for me if we were having issues. Now I know I have seen other reviews on this, so I think detailed instructions should be provided to avoid any further confusion and frustration. The house also has a roach issue. Even after the cleaners cleaned, the home is just all over, not every clean. The host gladly took my input and told me he would make attempts to get the house deep cleaned, but based on past reviews, this has been a continuous issue that hasn't been addressed. The beds weren't comfortable to sleep in, and one of the ones up stairs are very loud. I was also very disappointed with how far the beach was from the house, considering it was advertised as 10 minutes, it was 22 minutes to the closest beach at all times of the day. Had I known all of these things, I would NOT have stayed here.

Negative: The sanitation was poor. The refrigerator didn’t get really cold the couch was broken the screen in the back yard was broken there was some tile off the wall in the master bath.it would have been nice to have some floats to swim with some bath towels some cleaning products to clean after our selves with. We bought a mop and a broom to clean with. Beds were not comfortable.

Positive: We liked the location and quiet neighborhood. The house was nice. We like the distance it was from shopping, restaurants, and the beach.
Negative: The pictures need to be updated on the site. The patio sliding doors needs to be fixed where they will close all the way. The front door needs something at the bottom of it to keep out critters. The washing machine and dryer need to be replaced because they are rusted. A curtain or blind needs to be put at the window of the door where the washer and dryer are. There needs to be instructions next to the air conditioning control as how to operate it. The house should get a deep clean after every use and re-cleaned if there is a long while between rentals. My family and I were inconvenienced a great deal because we had to cancel prior planned activities. The company had to send someone to come clean the house before we could settle in. We had to wash ALL of the linen for all 8 beds and begin cleaning up before housekeeping arrived. All 3 bathroom had to be cleaned. The floors had not been swept. The patio chairs, table, and deck area where the grill was was filthy. The living room sofa and table were nasty. The house was not clean at all. If we had not started cleaning before the housekeeper came, she would have been there until 2 or 3 in the morning. She did an amazing job, and we were so thankful. Nevertheless, the company did take care of the issues and refunded us the cleaning fee.
Summary: It was ok, however; it wasn't what I was used to.

Negative: The water was lukewarm and some bathrooms where better than others. Could have done with more cleaning equipment. The pool was quite cold too.
