Positive: Convenient overnight stay on journey south, Attractive attic room with beamed ceiling. Well equipped. Good shower. Pleasant staff. Enjoyed a lovely meal in restaurant in the evening and breakfast next morning. Everything nicely cooked and well presented. Would recommend.

Positive: Stayed one night to explore area. Sanctury Inn is cosy and welcoming. it's a busy little place with lots of atmosphere. Great menu and reasonable prices. Tastefully decorated throughout. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served piping hot. Great location to explore the town and castle. Short drive to Chesterfield or there's a regular bus service from the town centre. Would highly recommend.

Positive: Very near a fantastic castle. Quiet and comfortable room. Lovely evening meal with very friendly staff and really delicious breakfast with best coffee l have had for ages . Welcoming and helpful owners., very kind.

Negative: All great. Perhaps a hook on the bathroom door!!!! Really nothing to criticise.

Positive: I loved the feel of the Santuary Inn, it felt very comfortable and relaxing, everything felt so new and clean, it was casual but really well kept at the same time with lots of lovely touches. The teddy bear on the bed made me smile :-) There was a really nice shower, a lovely bed and bed linen and in the morning my vegan breakfast and coffee were so good (nice strong coffee)! The Santuary Inn is run by a very lovely couple who obviously put their heart and soul into what they do. I would definitely like to return. Thank you again! :-)

Positive: The location was ideal as it was very close to Bolsover Castle. The Sanctuary Inn was excellent, especially the Spanish tapas and the Batemans ales. The room was a good size, well equipped, and exceptionally clean. The staff could not do enough for us, especially Charlene.

Negative: The noise from the beer garden if you went to bed before the pub closed and noise from the street.
