Summary: My wife and I spent two nights at the Sanctuary Lodge. It was simply wonderful from the beginning to the end of our stay. Great food, incredible staff. A real jewel by the Machu Picchu ruins. A true paradise.

Summary: A very beautiful hotel with excellent location. The location and ease alone access made it worth it. The hotel staff greeted us at the train station and helped us with our bus tickets and luggage. We received a room upgrade when we arrived, the room was well decorated and clean. The restaurant was good and our lunch, dinner and breakfast were included. However the service in the restaurant was a bit slow. When you check out and leave Machu Picchu the hotel gives you access to showers even if you have checked out. Very nice detail we greatly appreciated

Summary: This was definitely a splurge made doable by sharing with a friend. The amenities, comfort and service were top notch. We stayed here after coming off the Inca Trail, making the luxury that more amazing. The dining was unforgettable. They kept bringing us more wonderful things to try and enjoy. I've never felt so spoiled.
