Our guest house is located on a picturesque 5 acres, next to a woodland forest. We also run a bird sanctuary on the property, Georgia's Place Bird Sanctuary, which makes this a paradise for an animal lover! We are happy to give guests a tour of our sanctuary. There is a large deck and fire pit for an enjoyable evening, and a walking trail for wildlife enthusiasts!
We kindly ask guests not to bring meat onto the property as we are running a sanctuary that promotes compassion for all animals. We do have 3 vegan cookbooks in the kitchen for you do enjoy!

Summary: We were able to check in a tad earlier as I checked the renter beforehand which was great because I didn’t want to have to find the location in the dark. Such kind hosts and the house was adorable and perfect for the night.

Summary: Very nice place for an overnight stay. You do hear highway traffic at night. We just turned on a fan for white noise. We didn't spend much time at the house but it was nice to have a place available in the area. The hosts answered questions quickly and we're friendly.

Summary: I rented the property mostly based on the fact that it was in a relatively dark sky area in relation to Chicago. The house was charming. We were surrounded by the bird sanctuary & woodland. The turkeys were next to the house & we never once tired of hearing their calls. Rehana & Joe were very busy preparing for an event but still were helpful & responsive with everything we asked & needed. The path in the back was so pretty. We held a bonfire as we watched the meteor shower. <3

Summary: We spent the weekend in Lake Geniva Wisconsin attending Grandson's graduation. We opted to stay outside of town at this property.This was exactly what we need to avoid the expensive hotels and the large crowds in Lake Geniva during the weekend. How relaxing it was to return back to the house and enjoy the peaceful suroundings. Waking up to the rooster crowing took me back to staying at my grandma's!
