This contemporary-rustic getaway is located in a quiet wooded neighborhood of Bernhard's Bay. It has 260 ft of lakefront and 300 ft of creek. In walking distance is a good dinner. It is minutes away from marinas, boat launches, boat rentals, fish hatchery and restaurants.
The house has been revamped in the last few years. The outside color is burgundy and the roof is white metal, to reflect the sun rays.
From the living room surrounded by windows, you can enjoy an extraordinary view of the lake. It has a 28" LED television, DVD player and stereowith big speakers
The sofa, love seat and chair are made of half white Italian leather, and are reclinable.
The fireplace in the dining room /kitchen gives a cozy feeling.
The kitchen is open on 1 side into a bar like with bar stools.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The other bedroom has 2 twin beds with memory foam mattress and a 24" LED television.
The sand along the shore is safe to walk in, certainly for children jumping from the dock.
The dock accommodates boats up to 16 ft. long.
There is a lift for 14 ft. boat.
Fishing can be enjoyed from the dock or from the bridge across the creek. The yard is big, The private road offers ample parking.
Snowmobiling on the trails or on the frozen lake is breath taking. as well as ice fishing .

Summary: The property is well equipped and comfortable. Its easy to get to and right on the lake. Beautiful picture windows overlook Oneida Lake, and make the living area so serene. It was very rainy while we were there, but that did not lessen our enjoyment of this cute lake house!

Summary: The views are breathtaking. The cottage is nicely decorated and relatively comfortable. My husband found most of the seating (and the bed) to be quite low so he spent most of his time sitting on a bar stool. The house was fairly clean with a couple of exceptions in the kitchen area, which was pretty empty of any foils, wraps, baggies, coffee or filters for the unique pot, cooking oil, etc. Lots of salt and pepper shakers, and not much else. The outside was nice but has not weathered well in places. Lots of big trees, some down and needing to be cut up - my husband wished he had brought his chainsaw! Some vacation! Although the bottom of the lake is sandy, there is no sandy beach - the edge is rocky. We had a quiet getaway, which is what we needed, and enjoyed our time there.

Summary: On arrival the inside of the cabin was spotless clean . Very happy with it . There was plenty of parking for two trucks with jetski trailers and easy to pull in one driveway and out the other . Couple of minutes away from a nice boat launch and close to stores if you need any extra supplies or gas . Only issue was wifi didnt work and the grill didnt get above 250 degrees. We had a charcoal grill so it was no big deal . Nice private place to stay .

Summary: The inside of the house was clean and pretty nice. The roof had a leak when it rained really hard, but it hit the stone mantle and caused us no grief. The outside could use a little tlc, but overall we had a good stay. The huge picture window looking out to the lake is a big plus! Communication was good with owner, quick responses to our questions. We met the gentleman who does the maintenance and he was very nice.

Summary: This was our second stay here. Great location, especially if you enjoy privacy as we did. The weather didn't cooperate with us, but we were still able to enjoy our view right from the living room area and the fire ring on the property got a lot of use in the cool evenings. Owner responded almost immediately to any questions we had and was very helpful.

Summary: Overall the property is nice. Used the onsite kayak on the dock, great! There were a couple issues: - the cleanup between clients looks like it never happened. The bathroom sink, toilet and floor were dirty and the sheets and towels were wet and lying on the bathroom floor - beds were not made; we washed the sheets and put them on the bed - mice got into our dry goods which were unopened in a cabinet with a latch; also black ants inside - roof leaks near fireplace, we put a pot under to prevent damage

Summary: Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, the house sits very close to Rt. 49, so there was a lot of road noise. We also experienced daily noise from surrounding properties. Fortunately, things were quiet at night. The house and grounds are not well kept. There were other aspects that were disappointing that I will not mention, but the shortcomings are reflected in the price per night compared to others in the area. If you're looking for a bargain, this place fits the bill.
