Positive: It was an absolute joy to stay at Toine and Mega’s. The location is as it’s shown with peaceful, uninterrupted views of the plantation - add in spectacular songbird and the sound of the stream gushing below the property - so relaxing. The tent is beautifully fitted out with coffee/tea set-up and interesting details crafted in bamboo by Toine himself - check out the toilet roll holder in the open air bathroom! Walking through the rice fields and the village with Toine and Mega gave us the opportunity to witness daily life in Bali, not just as tourists but as visitors. Toine and Mega are received with smiles and open arms wherever they go and are doing some amazing work supporting their community. Be sure to book dinner - Mega’s cooking is delicious and all ingredients are local and super fresh! Thank you Toine and Mega!!

Positive: Accomodation was amazing to relax and wind down. Food was amazing, didn’t feel any need to even leave the accomodation, was able to take in the serenity of the location and have incredible food delivered straight to the tent door!

Negative: I should have stayed longer - a real gem of a location and place.

Positive: This place is magical. Everything about it was absolutely impeccable - I could not possibly have hoped for more. From the moment I arrived it felt like I'd come home. I genuinely did not want to leave. The amazing view kept me absorbed for hours but when I needed to move my body, there were lovely walks through the rice fields or plantation. The food was incredible, I felt so thoroughly spoilt. The tent itself is well made with so many thoughtful details. It was the most relaxing place and my favourite so far in all of my travels to Bali. I will definitely be back and I already miss Timmy the dog. The 4WD Jeep Tour was fun and I had a couple of great massages also. Just wonderful. I stayed 4 nights and could have stayed for much longer.

Summary: The most perfect place I've stayed in Bali.

Positive: We were successfully met and the host helped us with parking our car. Just a note for unexperienced drivers, the last few hundred meters is quite thin road, if you feel uncomfortable, it's better to call the host for assistance. However this is nothing to what is waiting for you. Spectacular view from the tent-room. While you enjoys it, an excellent dinner is coming. Sleeping in the heart of the farm is something you never forget unless you wake up. Beautiful sunrise over the rice fields just from your bed looks amazing. Then you can take a breakfast in the tent and walk through rice fields and other farms around. This is something you would like to repeat again. Thanks you Toine and Mega.

Positive: We had high expectations for this stay given the exceptional reviews we read when making the booking, and somehow our experience exceeded our expectations. We loved it so much that we cancelled our accommodation at another booking and stayed a second night. The hosts were just so lovely, friendly, kind and welcoming. The Wandi tent was in such a beautiful setting, it was so peaceful and it was the most relaxed we had felt during our 3 week trip. Every thing has been thought of and executed so well and with so much care. The food was probably the standout, it wasn’t just the best food we experienced while in Indonesia, but some of the best food we’ve ever eaten (and we come from Melbourne which is a foodie city!). It was made with love, patience and heart. We were incredibly sad to leave, but we will absolutely be back next year…but for longer this time! Thanks Tonie and Mega, you guys make an incredible team!

Positive: Our favorite stay is Bali! Not touristy at all! Yusuf and his wife will cook you breakfast and diner every day, and believe us, best food in Bali! :) the tent is amazing. Small but it has everything you need! And the views are just amazing! The hosts can give you good travel advices and helps you with everything! They have a little paradise on earth :)

Negative: On day when we went on a sunrise hike we tried to sleep during the day, and the tent gets a bit too hot during the day. Otherwise, everything is perfect :)
