Positive: Everything was just wonderful! A big spotless room, huge comfortable bed with perfect bedding, great A/C, big balcony with a view and comfortable armchairs. Common kitchen with tea/coffee, washing machine, a fridge in the room and in the kitchen, delicious breakfast, etc. Sanjee is the most caring, careful and helpful host I’ve ever seen, but very tactful at the same time. He can also cook delicious food for you. What I tried was all really good and fresh. His wife provides very good and pleasant massage. Only the best impressions!

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at SanjeeHome & Lanka Ayurveda! The place is incredibly clean with a beautiful garden in front that gives such a peaceful vibe. Our room was very spacious, spotless, and had plenty of storage options. The bathroom was also large and very clean. We especially loved the big balcony attached to the room, where we spent a lot of relaxing time. Sanjee provides a washing machine and a lovely common kitchen for guests, which was really convenient. Another great touch was the free sunbeds he offers at the beach. Sanjee was also kind enough to give us a tuk-tuk lift to the bus station when we were leaving. Thank you so much for everything — we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay!#Coupleexploration

Positive: Very good breakfast choice of western or SriLankan- always with fresh fruit. The rooms are located on the first floor with nice garden view. Mosquito net and air condition - closet space and big fridge in the room equipped various beverages. The room seemed dark as the balcony doors didn’t have see through windows - but opening the balcony doors let light in . Comfortable chairs and little table on the balcony. Shower worked very well . Outside of the room was a kitchen and a washing machine for use . Sanjee and his family were wonderful that made my stay very comfortable. Sanjees Tuk Tuk service around Bentota was free and the beach was a few minute walk over the railway line to a beautiful beach - offering two sun beds from Sanjees home that you can use . Good value for money .

Positive: A beautiful two-story homestay with a lot of nice greenery on the lot. Recently opened by Sanjee and his lovely family. Sanjee really went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and at home in his house and in Bentota. He offered free tuk-tuk rides within Bentota, either by himself or his young son. He’s also a tour guide and we went with him to the wonderful temple in Bentota, where he explained the inner workings of Hindu customs at a temple. Sanjee also keeps three sunbeds at the fantastic beach, free to use for his customers (first come, first served). The family has built a massage parlor in the house, offering varying types of massage/treatments. We had a delicious dinner made by Sanjee himself, with his own recipes, amazing. We absolutely loved our stay with Sanjee and his family and the main reason is his incredible kindness and helpfulness. Please visit and enjoy!

Positive: Absolutely wonderful family, who owns this guesthouse! Sanjee helps with all the questions and even more! He provides you to any place if you need something, advices interesting places, best shops! Delicious breakfast! Good room with all the conveniences. In the kitchen you can cook everything or ask the host to buy or cook any meal for you! Amazing place, absolutely recommended!

Positive: An excellent breakfast served by Sanjee every morning, with a freshly made smoothie and with a fantastic fresh food plate at the end. Hospitality, Sanjee arrange tuk-tuk ride around "on demand". He was really available for us all the time, if we asked. The owner (Sanjeewa) organized a perfect dinner for us and our private friends that we met them staying close to us. Despite the beaches were nearly empty due to COVID, the place is otherwise lively. We got extremely good service according to the low (COVID) price of the room.
Negative: It is worth os taying at least prolonged week to see the nearby places and take a longer time on the beach. Next time, we will not use so much massages that Sanjee organized in Ayurveda centre close to him since it takes to much time and it is worth to be at the sandy beach more time. The only big remark is a broad gauge railroad placed between the most of settlements and a perfect sandy beaches. So somebody ruined much of the tourist potential of the country in the past. How do you feel lying on the beach and hear frequent rails crosing behind your back?
Summary: Short holidays after a meeting in Colombo. I didn't expect much, but Sri Lanka is worth of visit!

Positive: Sanjee and family are quite literally the most precious host you will find in Sri Lanka. They helped us with anything we needed and Sanjee tipped us on great restaurants and facilities nearby. Save evening to have a dinner prepared by them. :)
