Positive: Rooms are beautifully decorated and super clean. Great location close to the market square. Staff were helpful. Free filter water in reception

Negative: Despite it being advertised as a hostal I don’t think this is. There are signs saying it’s $3 to use the kitchen but when asked were told it was closed so there is no facility to make your own food at all. Communal areas were just a couple of seats in reception. The wifi is diabolical (less than 1mb of download)

Positive: The staff were very accommodating, very friendly.

Negative: Sliding shower door needs readjustment.

Summary: You simply cannot beat Santa Fe for the price of a good bed, good WiFi and hot shower, not to mention its location

Positive: Cheap, central, clean, comfy bed and good hot water shower.

Negative: Staff is very cold/unfriendly. WiFi is useless - do not come here if you need WiFi (EDIT: this is true at least for the top floor and terrace where I was situated. In the reception area it is ok.) Booking says there’s a kitchen but that’s false - there is a kitchen but you're not allowed to use it. So there’s not even a stove or kettle to use. There are hardly any common spaces. There’s no bar or shop. Rooms can be up 6 flights of stairs and there's no elevator. The rooftop terrace has a hammock but nothing else; no chairs or tables or anything. EDIT: after talking to the staff, they offered me to use the kitchen for ONE meal a day. They said they'd fix the Wifi issue - the fix was moving me to a room closer to the router but I didn't want to move rooms.

Summary: Cheap, central but not social and USELESS WiFi (on top floor!)
