Summary: The Sapelo Ritz is a great place to stay! The Thompson’s have done a wonderful job making their place homey and comfortable. They put us in touch with Barbara and Chris Bailey who we rented a truck from for the weekend. They let us know they were always available if we had any questions or needs. Can’t wait to go back over and stay again.

Summary: Overall, Sapelo Ritz was a great house for (2) couples. Our only real issue was the Wi-Fi. We did check ahead of time to confirm it would be available, as there was an important communication that had to happen at a specific time on Friday. Thankfully, Chris (caretaker) told us about Sapelo’s triangle, so we worked it out. Barbara & Chris were excellent caretakers. We enjoyed a lovely meal prepared by Barbara. A great tour of North Sapelo by Chris. Outdoor shower was a bonus. Great porch for reading, morning coffee & evening cocktails. BBQ grill wasn’t very useable. A new grill grate would make the difference. The owners were very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Summary: Our first timer renting this house on Sapelo. It is next to other houses, but still very quiet. Clean and plenty of room. AC worked great, and there fans in every room. Wi-Fi. Large tv, which we didn’t watch much, because the is the beach!! I would recommend getting some new dinnerware and flatware, and some dishes for microwaving foods. Otherwise, kitchen was well-stocked. Can’t say enough about the caretakers Chris & Barbara Bailey. Responded quickly to every text, and we got two meals from them that were very good.

Summary: This was our fifth trip to the island, and the first in this home. The home was very much as described. Though maybe more dated than some of the newer homes, it was nice, comfortable, and well-appointed. It was a hot few days, but the AC and fans more than made up for any discomfort experienced outdoors. Though the property description mentions that a "car is not required" -- some form of transportation very much is, as this is one of the more remote homes. We made plans to have two golf carts available during our stay, and even verified that request the week prior. We have a party of four, and a single vehicle does not allow us to be in different places at the same time. Upon arrival, we found out that neither golf cart was available. Though a jeep was provided for transportation, it was not what we had expected, or wanted. There is also a single store on the island. We didn't find out until we arrived that it wasn't open during our multi-day stay. I get that things happen, but I very much feel there's an opportunity for stronger communication when it comes to the add-ons that you will need to make your stay on this amazing island even better.

Summary: We rented this house for a girls weekend and had a blast! The house was the perfect place! Owner was available and helpful. We had Miss Barbara cook one of our dinners and it was delicious! Can’t wait to return!

Summary: Nice house, clean and very comfortable. Owner and property manager were both very accessible and helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We left some items and the owner mailed them to us free of charge! Thank you R., B., and C. for an awesome weekend. Can’t wait to come back.
