Summary: We had a wonderful time. The cabin sits on a great quiet and peaceful lake. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing. We didn't end up renting the pontoon because the weekend weather was raining on and off, but it was nice to know it was available. We brought our 2, 4, and 6 year old. They had a great time as well and 2 of our friend couples joined us. And the space worked out great for all of us. We went to town a few times for dinner, brunch, ice cream and to check out the local brewery. It was all really fun.

Summary: The cabin size and bedroom configuration fit our group of 6 adults and 2 children. The beds and other furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake as well as the small sandy beach and swimming area. Host Megan was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Summary: This lakeside house was compact but very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable; the AC worked well when we needed it, and there were plenty of windows and fans for when we didn’t. The owners were very responsive to our texts and even sent someone out to help us right away when we had a problem with the boat. Although there were neighbors close on either side, we didn’t feel too crowded or hear them too much. The lake was nice — not as great for swimming with kids as we’d hoped because the kids were a little freaked out by the weeds, but we saw some incredible wildlife: eagles, loons, ospreys, turtles, etc. The fishing off the dock was busy but the fish were small — still managed to catch enough keeper panfish to feed the fish-eaters twice. Really lovely yard and property. If you’re going to do a lot of cooking or cooking for a big crowd, you might bring along some of your favorite cooking tools (like a cheese grater) and some bigger pots and pans. I mentioned this to the owner, so it might not be a problem for future renters. Overall, we enjoyed our week of fishing off the dock, sitting around the fire pit, sitting on the deck, and playing games around the big kitchen table.

Summary: Inside cabin was very clean but outside areas and equipment looked like they were still packed away from the winter. A little cleanup and they were good to go. Love the Lake, little beach, the outside deck and firepit. Loved the Pontoon Boat. Cabin was perfect for our family - big table for meals and games, nice bedrooms and nice areas for multiple activities. Nice kitchen for meal prep. We loved our weekend!
