Positive: Location, staff very friendly

Negative: The room does not have a closet or similar to organize clothes, these have to be kept in the suitcase and there is not a table or something to put these. Safety locker was not working during my stay.

Positive: Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff

Negative: Information about the parking must be more clear. We arrived with a small baby late in the evening. We had no time to walk around and read the signs , they were not even lit up properly. The gent in the Reception was very kind and welcoming yet did not properly inform neither asked if we have registered the car license plate beforehand since we were sure that it was registered with the camera and we were to pay when we leave. Ended up with a penalty and hotel said it was not their problem since the parking is not linked to the hotel. Yet, the human factor did not work in this situation since we asked about the parking before we went to the parking lot at the back (and they knew we had come with a newborn baby) and did not check if we have managed to register the car when we were standing in Reception with a newborn baby in our hands at 10pm. I think the hotel should be more welcoming and supporting to families with little children.

Summary: Nice breakfast but be aware of parking rules!

Positive: Excellent breakfast, during my entire Norway trip having started at multiple location, can surely say that their scrambled eggs were the best :). Lovely staff, they were really helpful and amicable. 7-8 min walk to nearest bus/ train station, makea it convinient to take a day pass and roam around the city with public transport and save those hefty parking charges.

Negative: Expensive parking, but I guess it would be everywhere in Oslo.

Summary: Scandic experience.

Positive: I like that the room was specious and had tv, mini fridge and safe. It s near public transport and store. its located 3.5km from the city centre.

Negative: We didnt like that check in is from 4pm and room had big glass wall and balcony door that you couldnt open and none balcony. But it had lots of light.

Summary: Ok place to stay when in Oslo but would choose closer to centre

Positive: It was about 5 minute walk from the metro station so perfect for travelling around. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly.

Negative: The only thing for us was we couldn't have a meal in the evenings due to a strike not just in the hotel but all over norway. There wasn't a restaurant near only a supermarket. But that was the only thing and if you go the strike hopefully will be over.
