Positive: We liked the central location and the nearby parking. The War Museum was a priority and it's about 2 minutes walk. The man on hotel reception was very friendly and helpful. Our room on the 9th floor had a great view of the harbour, was spacious and had good block out curtains. And the bathroom towels were the fluffiest we've had in few hotel/other stays in Norway!

Negative: No plug in the bathroom basin.

Negative: Better information on parking options near to the hotel. Room quite small, and limited view and quite a bit of noise from vents/fans on roof outside (3rd floor).

Positive: Our bedroom was tidy, modern and quiet. Beds were comfortable with a good firm mattress. Plenty of space in the room and a handy set of power outlets. The bathroom was clean with a hot powerful shower. Parking is right under the hotel and shared with a public car park. I think you can probably get a lift straight up into the hotel but there were building works going on when we stayed so it was a 2 minute walk from the car park to the hotel. The hotel is right in the centre of Narvik and so easy to walk to anywhere in the town centre from the hotel, not that Narvik is a very big town. It's very easy to find as it's the only building in Narvik this tall. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out can sometimes be a little busy as they have a lot of coach parties staying there but otherwise were both quick and trouble free. It's worth knowing that there are some really good restaurants just across the road from the hotel. Bella Napoli is a very down-to-earth traditional Italian with great staff, recommended. But Furu was fantastic the best meal we had in Norway; great food, good service and not too expensive - you can see why this place gets such good reviews (make sure you book to get a table).

Negative: The hotel is pretty expensive but there's not many cheaper hotels in Narvik. You may be able to get an apartment in Narvik for a less money if you are happy to self-cater.
