If you're looking for an active family stay, we're located right next to Dyreparken (Kristiansand Zoo). The hotel is within walking distance of Norway's largest shopping center, Sørlandssenteret, offering a variety of shops and activities like go-karting and indoor playgrounds. We're located 15 minutes east of Kristiansand city center and 10 minutes from the airport. Free parking is available (subject to availability) right outside the hotel, with space for 165 cars. There are also frequent bus departures to downtown Kristiansand. The hotel features a garden with an outdoor pool, kept at 26°C (open from mid-June to mid-August). We also have a large gym, and if you prefer walking or jogging, there are excellent trails on either paved roads or through the vast forest directly behind the hotel. We are a pet-friendly hotel, and everyone is warmly welcomed. What could be better than taking a walk in the forest right behind the hotel? Positive: Breakfast was great, a nice selection of both warm and cold foods. Friendly and helpful staff. Family friendly, a nice playroom downstairs for kids. Decent free WiFi. Good mini-fridge in the room. Perfectly adequate bathroom. We ate dinner at the hotel three times (buffet) and the price was fairly reasonable. Walking distance to Kristiansand Zoo (Dyreparken). A lot of families with kids at this hotel, so at night it was calm and quiet, no parties or nightclub.
Negative: The bed was a little squeaky and not super comfortable. When we arrived, the floor of the room and bathroom was not particularly clean. I brought this to the attention of reception and they sent up a lady to clean. She did a great job cleaning both the floor of the main room and the bathroom too. So nothing to complain about! Proper communication is essential if you want to get something fixed in Norway! :-)

Positive: The restauurant staff was exellent and the kids play area.
Negative: The room wans't really clean, the floor was a bit dirty. It was missing fridge from the room and the receptionist wasn't helpfull and kind.
