Summary: Overall - we had an excellent stay at the hotel, and will come back for sure. However, one thing took the entire experience down at the end. Saturday morning Sep 6, a strong sewer stank/smell started to come up from the drain next to the bath-tub. Although we notified the staff multiple times about it (there must have been a stoppage or clog), nothing was done about it, which was a bit disappointing. This problem lasted continuously until we left Monday morning Sep 8. Hence, it would actually be appropriate to discount the last two nights entirely, and also give full frequent stayer points. Summary: Good rooms, even if not very recent. Very good breakfast like in all Scandic I have been. Maybe a bit more warm welcome like in other hotel would have been a plus. Anyway good hotel, I advise it.

Summary: Excellent few days in Stavanger. Hotel very close to city centre with nice park with small lake just across the road. Very spacious room. Breakfast was excellent. Free coffee machine in reception. Friendly and helpful staff.
