Summary: We stayed here just one night but it would be great for a longer stay! Comfortable beds, plenty of space and a great location, too. Close to Logan but tucked away for a restful retreat. Has all the basics for a small group and we would recommend!

Summary: We had a great stay at Rob’s place. We were in town for a family reunion at a state park, but didn’t want to camp. Rob’s place was a comfortable, affordable alternative for a bit of remote work, some time out of the heat, and a good night's sleep. Exactly what we were looking for. The basement apartment was clean, well lit, and comfortable. It was also quiet - we heard some noise from upstairs, but it was very minor and didn’t bother us at all. The mattresses, sheets, and towels were decent. The internet was plenty speedy and everything worked well. Rob was a great host, very responsive. For example, Rob replied quickly and graciously to a change to our booking information. He responded with similar timeliness after our arrival to requests for the Wifi information (which was not posted in the apartment), additional supplies (the apartment is stocked pretty minimally) and an extra hour for checkout. Really appreciate Rob’s efforts. While we had a good experience, I would also note that it’s a pretty basic option, which is to be expected for the price and was great for us, but might be less than what some are looking for. It also seems like the house/yard in general and the apartment specifically are still being finished. Functionally there aren’t any issues, it’s just minor cosmetic/finishing touch kind of stuff. Ultimately, we would stay again if in the area.

Summary: We were in town for a family party, and rented a VRBO for the sake of the kitchen, mostly. The apartment is immaculate--it's new construction, and just beautifully done. The beds were extremely comfortable, and even though it's a basement unit, it felt very light and spacious. The ceilings are high, which helps a lot with that feeling of space. There was a little sound from the house above--children's feet--but it wasn't bothersome to us (we thought it was kind of cute, actually.). Check-in and out could not have been easier. We'd definitely stay here again!

Summary: I thought the apt and host was great! Perspective: I am 59 yrs, worked 30 yrs in country club mgmt, have travelled extensively domestically and globally, and am a food and cooking snob. I rarely eat out these days because I despise paying for disappointing food. I gave an overall rating of 4 stars instead of 5 because I/we found it challenging to prepare breakfast for 2 adults due to kitchen having only a single skillet + pots and pans (teflon coated aluminum), cheap plastic spatula, and small 5 cup coffee maker. A family of 4 would likely be equally challenged by kitchen utensils. The kitchen utensils are not limiting if you are eating out. All other amenities are comfortable and reasonably well executed. The hot tub is smallish but great for 2 adults, 3 adults would be cozy, IMO 4 adults would be borderline uncomfortable. Add to that, our first evening in the hot tub after snowboarding, the temperature was only at 92 degrees F. I turned it up to 103 F but it was only at 95 when we got out the first evening. I would encourage future travelers to consider the hot tub temp in your communications with the host(s) or check it upon arrival. The facility does have an excellent location with floor drain at the bottom of the stairs to install a snow equipment drying/storage rack which will help to keep the beautiful engineered hardwood floors dry if renters have numerous pieces of snow sport equipment. I was compelled to catch snow melt water indoors each evening after snowboarding. A multi-boot dryer would also be a nice touch. The property is approx 45 minute drive to Beaver Mtn and 1.5 hours to Powder Mtn. This was my first time to both Mtns and I found this basement apt to be a good value when considering drive time.
