Summary: My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Still Waters. In the wintertime, it’s difficult to find a place to go to in the wintertime as weather limits activities.We found this beautiful home located on the water with million dollar views out the back windows. We turned on the fireplace and enjoyed the wildlife and waterway just outside the back window. How relaxing and enjoyable. The house was very well equipped with everything we could want (and a number of theming that we forgot at home and were surprised to find available here).Theresa our host was wonderful and communicated well We had a snowstorm and travel was iffy for a while, but Theresa kept us up to date and ensured we could access the house with the heavy snow. We look forward to a return in warmer weather as well when we can utilize the bikes and kayaks. Kayaking looks like it would be amazing here.Highly recommended!

Summary: Perfect weekend getaway with friends. We were able to enjoy the beautiful view of the bay from almost anywhere in the house. We loved that there was an outdoor fire pit and plenty of wood to sit outside. There we were able to enjoy the amazingly clear skies filled with stars. We will be back!

Summary: We had a lovely relaxing stay here. The view is absolutely gorgeous and I loved waking up to see the water every day. You can enjoy the view outside on the porch or inside through the big wide windows. We’re 2 adults but actually slept in the adorable bunk beds because they were so cozy. Childhood dreams come true! We really appreciated the air fryer in the kitchen to reheat leftovers. The Wii was so fun to play. The gas fireplace was lovely and warm, and we loved the firepit outside too. Restaurants and groceries are about a 10 minute drive into Mathews. There are some delicious seafood places and diners. We’ll have to come back in the summer to use the kayaks on the water.

Summary: Beautiful home with a beautiful view of the bay. I wish we had a bit more time as we were only there 1 full day. The only part missing in the description and photos was the sunrise! It was worth getting up at 5:30 am to watch. The property was well taken care of and clean. Communication was super easy as the host made herself accessible via text. We highly recommend this property.
