Scenic View Retreat is a two bedroom brick cabin located at the edge of the Hocking Hills, with a beautiful fishing pond just outside your door.
This cabin offers all the comforts of home with satellite TV and a reclining leather sofa where you can relax in front of the wood burning fire place. If nature is what you crave this cabin is in the middle of nowhere, no wi-fi or cell service to interrupt nature. You can relax in the hot tub with a view of the pond or have a picnic lunch around the fire pit. There are also trails through the woods where you can take a nature hike. Summary: The cabin was very clean inside. However, the driveway was pretty rough and very dark at night. Very far from any cities but extremely peaceful. A truck or SUV recommended.

Summary: It was very nice, cute. The hot tub was great, as was the small lake. We had a fire, fished and it all made for a very relaxing weekend.

Summary: We had a great stay and would def do again. We had some trouble using the lockbox and recliners but everything else was as advertised. It was close to several towns and hocking hills trails but also extremely secluded. No phone or wifi was nice.

Summary: Very excited about this stay but it didn’t start off well. I never received the code to get the key to get in cabin. Minimal to no cell phone service and no phone # to contact manager. After 45 minutes of trying to contact someone - I finally decided to call VRBO. THE YOUNG MAN WAS VERY helpful and gave me the code. We finally get in cabin to find outside lights burnt out…very dark! Nozzles, plugs laying in the bottom of the hot tub and the light in hot tub was burnt out as well as most of the jets not working. Summary: The property was very isolated which was peaceful and wonderful. The cabin was clean and had good amenities. The cabin could use some updates. Bathroom very tiny. No place to hang wet towels and bathing suits. Woulld definitely book again.
