Built under commission from Empress Victoria Friedrich and completed in 1893, it is today one of the most impressive German castles and offers its guests living history to touch and feel. Exclusive furnishings and an impressive collection of antiques and paintings from the private estate of the Empress Viktoria. With it two restaurants " Viktoria" and "Enrico d´Assia" the castle make sure to meet all tastes with different cuisines and colors. Positive: Service, vibe and antique style of rooms. The bathroom was also superbly appointed.
Negative: The location was a very slight downside as it cost around 30-40 euro to get in and out of Frankfurt (airport, Hbf, town centre etc.). That said, you get a beautiful remote vibe instead, so it depends on the person and what they are looking for in a stay!

Positive: The hotel is stunning and beautiful. Extremely clean. The grounds are it gorgeous and extremely well kept. There's a sense of elegance, an old world. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal with so many different types of food options. Great place for a weekend, getaway or a vacation. Very romantic, there were a lot of events going on that weekend, including a wedding.

Positive: Huge Bathroom, nice beds. Fantastic Ambiance, great Garden and Park. In general it was a royal experience to stay at such a historc building with an original Turner painting in the Baer!
Negative: Wifi Was not working. Not a big deal for me as I just went to the lobby and did may work there. I know it's a problem not being able to connect nowadays but the staff tried their best.
Summary: A wornderful positive experience with a great room and good food and caring staff!

Positive: Every thing was wonderful. Beautiful view, great breakfast, nice rooms. Awesome castle.
Negative: Most of the staff were quite arrogant and acted with a sense of superiority when dealing with hotel guests, which was disappointing. However, there were a few very kind and helpful employees who were more than willing to assist and provide guidance.
Summary: Totally It was a nice stay. And I will come again to stay here

Positive: It’s a great castle hotel. First of all it kept a lot of original stuff, paintings, furniture, beautiful interiors, such as walls, staircases, also doors and windows. One may catch a glimpse of how the first owner, Victoria, Princess Royal, could have lived a few hundred years ago. Secondly as a hotel the service and the comfort are top notch. Waiting people are attentive, friendly but not overbearing. One special event for us was that we couldn’t get a table for dinner because the whole place was fully booked. We expressed our disappointment after having spent one night in the cafe. Micheal who attended the dinner room that night felt bad for us and got us a table the last minute. We really enjoyed a great dinner and the splendid ambience. The professionalism and caring showed by Michael were the true qualities of a five star hotel.
