Our daylight basement apartment is a cozy and spacious retreat after a day exploring. You’ll appreciate the separate entrance, full bath, laundry, gas fireplace, premium sound system, and backyard garden. We are close to Division Street restaurants like Pok Pok and many others. With easy access to bus lines, bikeways, and street parking.
Fully finished basement area with epoxy-sealed concrete floors, new windows that provide plenty of natural light, and granite counter tops. A gas stove warms the area and adds ambiance. Queen bed. There is a washer/dryer. Stereo and TV. We think that you will feel at home in this space. Please note that it is a basement apartment in a 100 year old home and so sound does travel. Outside is a relaxing garden area.

Summary: We stayed for 5 nights while visiting my son who lives in Portland. We love to walk around the Division Street neighborhoods. This apartment was great and it is nearby everything we wanted to do.

Summary: This apartment worked great for us. Private, clean, comfortable and convenient for our short Portland visit. We did not interact with the hosts at all but only because we weren’t around very much. We would stay again if the opportunity arises.

Summary: We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The apartment was roomy with a well stocked large kitchen, comfortable living room with TV, great mattress and updated bathroom. Extra kudos for a beautiful backyard and location to restaurants, shops and adorable houses. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. When we return next fall, we hope to stay again for an extended time.

Summary: We stayed here 3 weeks, 2 for quarantine and another to visit our daughter. It's a cozy warm place, comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and there are plenty of wonderful restaurant nearby. The host were very helpful, we only had a really minor problem and Charles took care of it immediately. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: I was visiting Portland only briefly this time, and this apartment was perfect for my little solo get-away. It is roomy, yet cozy, and in a great neighborhood. The owner was communicative and friendly. I had a wonderful stay!

Summary: Great place. Great location with easy access. Very clean with attention to detail which made our stay very nice. Perfect spot if your planning a lot to do in the east side of town. Everything is in close proximity and easy to get to.

Summary: This basement apartment was perfect for my stay in Portland. It has a full kitchen, a separate bedroom, and a nice bathroom with a bathtub. Wonderful location in a walkable neighborhood. Charles was very nice and accommodating. You do hear steps above at times but I never heard it after bedtime and it's easy to not hear it during the day if you have the tv on. It would be nice to have access to a radio without having to stream via my phone. Fortunately you can get NPR on the TV. I would definitely stay there again.
