Positive: Spacious, private, nice back deck, easy walk from ferry and in to town. Bikes were nice for morning bike rides.
Negative: The shower door in main bedroom does not close. There was the end of a nail sticking out of the wall/wood in the bathroom. Smelled a bit musty when we first got there, But we opened up windows and turned on ceiling fans aired it out. Seemed to do the trick. I read in a previous review that there were roaches. We did see and kill one roach. A previous guest must have had a party because balloon ribbons were left on rafters in living room and scotch tape on walls. Dishwasher was not working, annoying but not a big deal. (a note was left for us indicating). Place Needs a little TLC and upkeep.
Summary: Besides a few things mentioned about the property, we did enjoy our stay and would recommend.

Positive: Location Number of rooms Beds were very comfortable AC units were very good
Negative: Lots of safety concerns: fire alarm held together with duct tape, ladder to loft not attached, ceiling fan shook like it was ready to fall off couldn’t use it, screen door held together with duct tape, holes in ceiling to outside, sunken broken seat cushion on couch, unstable ready to break off ladder to upper bed of bunk, two out of three bikes broken, broken jaggered shower door and more Lots of health concerns: moldy cobwebbed AC with dirty paper towels stuffed in window sill to prevent bugs, dried chewed gum on another window sill, filthy windows and screens held together with duct tape could not open if wanted to, filthy hot tub Entire place worn out furniture and floors Scratches on every wall Missing laundry door Only two burners of stove work No glasses or pots Needs updating repairs safety standards and cleaning
Summary: Totally Disappointing but we made the best of it

Negative: Non working hot tub, complicated access to the property , broken beach chairs, poorly maintained bikes, no umbrella for outdoor patio, wet closet, broken or no screens, broken toaster, partially useable stove, out shower latch problems.
Summary: We enjoyed our stay, loved the location , the house is nice but the equipment could have been in better shape.

Positive: Layout of house, good TV...great deck...loved quiet secluded location..
Negative: Shower door literally fell off in my hand. Thought house was clean found out dishwasher was full of cake icing!..& did not work obviously this was not checked by cleaning staff. We were sent notice that we could enter earlier which was greatly appreciated! While we were there changing clothes a staff member walked into the house unannounced as She was unaware we had early entry. Saw there was a basket & would have appreciated its use upon arrival at ferry..no glasses in kitchen & pans are unusable with extensive damage to teflon...also need a light by the barbecue...
