Positive: A spacious place for 7 friends! Loved the kitchen and the big table. The view of the sea, and close access to swim. Rooms were comfortable and warm.
Negative: I had a very difficult time getting in touch with our host after booking. I think it is not the host's fault, but the intermediary (Sykes Cottages?). I got multiple automatically-generated messages with the same regurgitated information, despite repeatedly asking questions about how to access the property, and not knowing how to reach an actual person. Their messages kept saying I would receive the lockbox and directions info but I never go this information. I was getting and anxious and worried, even wondering if I've been scammed, as the day of arrival approached, and finally on that morning I found a number embedded in an early message of how to contact the host. And all was well - they had also been waiting for me, wondering about me. But I was very frustrated and worried for a time. Once contact was made, our hosts were great (they met us at arrival), and our stay was wonderful.
