The cottage is located at the harbour end of Minehead and is in an ideal location for both the beach and the country side. Exmoor National Park is just a short drive away.
The cottage is a few minutes walk from the town centre and is comfortably furnished and well equipped for guests. It forms a great base for the summer family holiday with the beach just across the road.
This is also a great starting point for country walks locally on Minehead's North Hill or a little further afield, exploring Exmoor. The famous South West coast pathway starts by the cottage. We welcome pets, especially dogs so why not bring that other valued member of the family on holiday with you.
And at the end of a great day's walking there is a log fire to relax in front of for those cosy winter evenings.
Minehead is the home of the West Somerset Railway and offers great excursionsby train to Blue Anchor or Watchet marina. There are great days out with journies on the steam train all the way to Bishops Lydeard and back.
But don't forget to have a cream tea before you come home.

Summary: we arrived with a lovely welcome package with teas,coffee etc, and a lovely packet of chocolate biscuits. Our beds were so comfortable, the whole experience was delightful, we'll definitely come back next year.

Summary: Really lovely cottage in an excellent location. Only downside for us was lack of outdoor space. Our dogs won't go to toilet on anything other than grass, so the good people of Minehead saw me every morning in my Pj's on the grass opposite.

Summary: Had a great week in this pretty cottage overlooking the sea. Everything we needed was there , and a goodnight location. Close to the town, beach and Exmoor National Park.

Summary: Fab cottage It had all u needed and more. I wish i could of stayed. The only draw back to nuehead is dogs not alode on beach

Summary: I booked Fisherman's Cottage for my parents who came over from the US for a week to spend half-term with their grandchildren visiting Exmoor, Butlins and Minehead. The location of the cottage couldn't be better - right on the seafront and no more than 10 minutes walk to anywhere you might need in town and with easy parking straight outside of the front door. All this and it is very quiet and peaceful as well. The cottage is traditional in style with a big farmhouse table for family meals, a family bathroom, a fireplace in the lounge and lots of games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. There is also a nice view of the sea from the 1st floor lounge. The hosts provided everything we needed, and we had no issue with maintenance. If you'd like a cosy family base in a great location with oodles of charm, this is the place for you.

Summary: We stayed at this lovely seafront cottage for a long weekend. The property was clean and well equipped and was just what we wanted for a relaxing holiday. The owners were helpful with booking and were happy for our dog to stay. We would definitely recommend this cottage fro a cosy and peaceful break and hope to return soon.
