3 Bedroom House in Sunderland Bay

This two story property on the forefront of Sunderland Bay has so much to offer, whether you prefer a trip to the beach, which is just a 2 minute walk away or a relaxing afternoon on the porch with just the fresh sea breeze, the choice is yours.
This outstanding home offers an unrivaled view of the Bass Strait on both levels, but don't let that distract you from the stylish and spacious interior.
Downstairs you will find 2 of the bedrooms, one with it's very own toilet and one with direct access to the main bathroom. Also downstairs is the rumpus room with foosball table and enough space for everyone to gather around and have a great time. The laundry is also on this level.
As you walk upstairs into the open plan living, dining and kitchen area, the views really start to shine. On this floor you will find the master bedroom with ensuite and built-in wardrobe. The kitchen is complete with dishwasher, fridge, conventional oven and electrical stove top, all your necessities for cooking are covered.
Outside the property, a roller door leads into a double carport with plenty of space for a car or two or maybe a boat.
*The double lockup garage and back yard is not accessible for guests!
The property is 'outside' pet friendly - by application only, conditions apply!
*Please note that linen is not included when booking this property*
Guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea towels.
Alternatively, a link to a local linen hire company will be provided with your booking confirmation.

Summary: The bathroom hot water shower knob and toilet seat were detached in the upstairs bedroom ensuite. The roller garage door was not operational.

Summary: On the water at Sunderland Bay is always a treat. The views upstairs are remarkable. But there were some annoying issues: 1)The final booking procedure was a fiasco. Although we made the original booking with Stayz, the payment and check in was handled by a local real estate agent in Cowes. This agent sent us 3 different invoices, all with different amounts and none matching our booking. We had to ring them twice to sort this out, which they claimed was a glitch. 2) The same agents provided us with a lengthy and specific list of penalties, including a fine for not putting bin out. The bin was completely full when we arrived and we rang them, as per their instructions. They said it would be emptied but it was never emptied. 3) Although the house is spectacularly located and extremely clean, there was no obvious heating upstairs (all split units upstairs were cooling only). It was pretty cold 2 of the days. We did find a very small space heater on a wardrobe shelf but only after searching. The ad said there was heating, which in the end was true, just not obvious and hardly adequate for such a large house.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Seahaven it was just what our family needed after lockdown. The location is perfect, quiet with ocean views at every angle and a fabulous beach location. It is a truly beautiful location. The deck in the home is a fantastic place to sit and watch the beauty of the bay along with sunsets and sunrises that were perfect every day. The home accommodated our family of 3 couples beautifully and the yard allowed us to bring our fur babies. Lots of space downstairs with a TV and games room if you have young children. If you intend staying here head down to the surf beach to watch the Shearwater birds flying back to their nest at dusk its the most magical sight you will ever see. We suggest a just a little TLC to some items in the home as we were not able to use them as required. Overall a lovely getaway. Thank you for a wonderful 7 days in your home.

Summary: Would have been nicer if f the realestate actually contacted us back after we noted issues with doors at the property. Also one bed is actually a king sized when all 3 rooms are listed as queen sized and since linen is not available it’s made it really hard to have to go into town and buy unnecessary items on a peak weekend - traffic and time, when all the kids wanted to do was go to the beach
