Summary: Luc was a lovely host. Great communication. The house was ideally positioned for the beach with its own private gate and parking. Easy to explore Normandy and the museums. Local bike hire was good to access the many good cycle paths in the area. The bakery opposite was lovely with baguettes croissants and very good quiche. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Summary: Stayed to view the historical sites. Location was excellent for this. Property was well equipped and Luc was very good to deal with. Only real issue is the lack of parking. It's a beach town so finding a spot is rather difficult.

Summary: My daughter and I were visiting the Normandy area to see all the WWII areas and this was a perfect base for that! We were there in early May so it wasn’t beach weather but there is direct beach access and we did go explore. Luc was a great host who met us at the door, got us a parking spot, and showed us around the cottage. I just regret that we didn’t book for a longer stay.

Summary: We had such a great stay at Luc’s lovely cottage. Location was perfect and the cottage was very well equipped and clean. We all had such good sleep on really comfy beds. We would happily stay again and recommend to others as a great place to stay. St Aubin Sur Mer is a lovely seaside town perfectly located for exploring the WW2 historical sites.

Summary: Accommodations were wonderful. Very close to the sea. Less than a 5 minute walk. Perfect location to visit all the beaches. Across the road from the Pastry shop - wonderful.

Summary: Very well appointed property, beautifully clean and well equipped. Good central position and good boulangerie opposite. The only draw back was the toilet being downstairs off the kitchen. There was a very good bathroom upstairs, but no toilet. Thank you, Luc, for a very enjoyable stay. Diana

Summary: My family of 4 (we have 2 teens) stayed 3 nights in this beautiful home and loved it. The owner was so nice! He greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the home. We loved the historic charm! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were able to park in the back in a private garage area. We loved the private path that led directly to the beach. In the mornings we walked across the street to grab fresh pastries from the bakery. At night we slept with the windows opened and the street was SO quiet. We walked to several very good restaurants on the beach. It was close to proximity to all the landing beaches and the American cemetery. (We took a 9 hour private tour while we were there.) I would definitely recommend this property!

Summary: Luc-Francoise was wonderful & communicative as our host, we had a sublime few days in St. Aubin-sur-Mer. Having the boulangerie/patisserie across the street - above and beyond!! We would return from there back to the front porch for breakfast and vacation reading. Only one toilet to share among the four of us, but that’s not a big deal. Short walk to the beach. Water still a bit chilly for swimming in mid-June, fyi (but the kids went in). The house is perfect, quiet street, wish we could have stayed longer. Merci pour tout, Luc-Francoise!!!

Summary: Lovely little cottage just set back from Juno Beach. Ideal location to cover the areas from Pegasus to Arromanches and Bayeux. Luc was very welcoming. Highly recommend.
