Seaside Sanctuary is a luxurious holiday home ideally located on the beachfront, with mesmerising water views, a large heated pool, multiple living areas, a pool table and stylish interiors sleeping up to 10 guests (max of 8 adults) in air conditioned comfort.
Seaside Sanctuary is close to all of Port Stephens' attractions, activities and Nelson Bay CBD you very well may never want to leave this fabulous holiday home. Enviably situated on the waterfront, in the nook of a picturesque calm water beach. The golden sand and blue water of the harbour is just metres from your doorstep. Spend your days swimming at the beach or in your very own heated pool overlooking the sea. Watch the kids play on the sand or grassy reserve in front of the property or join them for a stroll around the pretty headland on the bush walking track that begins a stone’s throw away. Enjoy a friendly game of pool, fish from the beach, sunbathe on lounges by the pool, relax with a book or drink while taking in the water views. Enjoy BBQ meals and laughs with family and friends at the10 seater outdoor dining setting.
Upstairs the open plan living areas all take in the vast harbour views and open onto a balcony with comfy outdoor furnishings. Also, on this level is the master bedroom, with king bed water views, balcony and a shared ensuite. The second bedroom on this level shares the ensuite (or guests in this room can use the family bathroom downstairs) has two long singles, which can be joined to make a king bed and is accessed via a covered balcony or the master bedroom.
The ground floor has one bedroom with queen bed and another bedroom with king zip beds. This level also has a family bathroom and second living room overlooking the pool and ocean vista , complete with the fabulous feature of a pool table, lounge, TV and a sofa bed, that can sleep 2 children.
The local shops are less than 500m away and provide all the essentials as well as the area's best fish’n’chip shop - Salt Mines. Rick Stein Restaurant is less than 2km away, as is a pub and the Soldiers Point Bowling club.
This property has a video doorbell at the front entrance, this is only for security purposes.
LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality linen, doonas, blankets and pillows.
ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 8 adults. The ground floor lounge room has a sofa bed that will be added to accommodate 2 children total maximum guest 10.
BOND a refundable bond of $2000 is payable with the balance of your accommodation and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.
BED CONFIGURATION. The top floor is the master king room with ensuite. There is a room with 2 long singles (one can made as king). The ground floor has a queen and twin zip room (can be made as a king).
Option 1: 1 King, 1 Queen, 4 long single.
Option 2: 2 King, 1 Queen, 2 long single.
Option 3: 3 King, 1 Queen.
Additional costs when booking;
Sofa Bed $100 per booking with towels and linen
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.
Beach/pool towels are $8 per towel hire/ per booking.
CANCELLATIONS - Booking Fee is not refundable ($150). Please refer to terms and conditions. Airbnb Guests please refer to Airbnb's policies.
PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only.
NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.
NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

Summary: Our stay at Seaside Sanctuary was truly delightful. The property is wonderfully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable, "home away from home" experience. The décor is absolutely stunning, creating a beautiful and inviting atmosphere.The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking ocean view, which provides a calming and serene outlook—ideal for relaxing and completely unwinding from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you're looking to chill out or simply recharge, this is the perfect place to do so.Unfortunately, we encountered an issue with the pool maintenance during our stay. We contacted the Agent, who did their best to assist, but due to it being the weekend, there wasn’t much they could resolve. Despite this minor inconvenience, it did not detract from the overall experience, as everything else about the property was truly exceptional.We highly recommend Seaside Sanctuary for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. It's a property that offers both style and tranquility in equal measure.

Summary: It is a great location and the property has great facilities. The upstairs bedrooms have a weird layout because you have to go through bathroom to get to second bedroom. The pool, location and view were great. The floors didn’t seem to have been cleaned properly as our feet were black from walking barefoot. We felt that they had skimped on some of the consumables/ not enough toilet paper and salt cellar never had salt but overall was a good stay.

Reviewer Comments: We rented this property for 4 adults and 2 children for 3 nights in mid August. The place was perfect, the pool and the pool provided a lot of fun for us all, both were clean and well kept. We took 2 kayaks but the additional 2 provided kayaks (including life jackets) enabled us to further enjoy the bay. Noting there was also a paddle board but we did not use it. Communication with the property managers was excellent, and we appreciated being provided the entry code details a little earlier than 3pm as this is quite late for entry for a property of this price.For meals, we walked to the Cheeky Dog for dinner, an easy walk, great food and a trivia night (Tuesdays), and used the bbq and other cooking facilities on the other evenings. There are 2 large supermarkets around 7 minutes drive away, plus a local smaller supermarket, which meant sourcing supplies to be very easy.We also visit the nearby go karts and used the tennis courts at Soldiers Point (racquets and balls supplied although very old).Overall, I would recommend this as a great place to stay.

Summary: Excellent, clean and modern house with amazing relaxing views. Thoroughly loved looking at all nature has to offer. Pelicans, bird life and Cormorants visiting every day. Would definitely stay again.
