Close to wonderful local restaurants, hiking trails, skiing, snow tubing, Harrah’s Casino, and Lake Junaluska (fishing, swimming, golfing, and pickle ball!).
☆RENTAL POLICY☆
Must be at least 22 years old to rent.
You will need to complete a rental agreement after booking with us, provide
proof of ID for verification purposes, and provide a $300 security deposit hold.
This hold will take place a few days before your booking and will be released a few days after your booking.
These things will be needed in order to receive any check-in information.
UP TO 2 DOGS ARE ALLOWED PER STAY, but you must select pets at the time of booking. The pet fee will automatically be included in the listed (host) fees. If this is not selected at the time of booking, there will be an additional $125 pet fee charged. Additional dogs may be considered, on a case by case basis. If approved, an extra fee will apply. Guests must clean up after their dogs in the yard and neighborhood.

It is an easy drive to the property. It is a hilly area, but there are no steep or dangerous roads to climb.
While we are located very close to the strip of Maggie Valley, we are in a small neighborhood area.
There are houses to the left and right of our cottage.

Summary: We were extremely pleased with the house, which had everything we needed, including a hot tub and a lovely fire pit and was well suited for bringing our two dogs. The owners were wonderful. The neighborhood was wooded and fairly quiet and we were literally minutes away from restaurants, a golf course and within 30 minutes of many attractions. The only minor negatives were it appeared the cleaning service didn't do the best job wiping the kitchen counters down and cleaning out the tub & we did notice some ants in the kitchen.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here. The place was quaint, comfortable, clean, and in the perfect location. We enjoyed hiking in the mountains surrounding the area, shopping in Cherokee, admiring the Elk in Oconaluftee, then coming back to enjoy the hot tub. The arcade table was a nice touch. So much nostalgia playing each other in Pacman like we were teenagers again

Summary: This cottage is in a convenient location to Cataloochee and Waynesville and only 35 minutes to Asheville. The cottage is cozy and the large porch inviting with the hot tub and rocking chairs! It's also well stocked with anything you may need in the kitchen during your stay. The owners are very responsive and check-in and check-out are a breeze. We're definitely staying here again when we visit next ski season! Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: We had never visited Maggie Valley before. The home was very clean, cozy, and quiet. We slept great every night. The location was close to restaurants, Tube World, Asheville, ski resort, and Cherokee. We took our 18 and 12 year sons with us. Perfect for a small family. The hot tub was clean. We loved the outdoor fire pit. Our host was very hospitable. Would definitely recommend this property!!

Summary: We stayed in Maggie Valley for the weekend at this beautiful home. It was exactly as listed. The dog crate was perfect. The home was clean, well-decorated, and had everything we needed. It was nicely stocked. We loved the beautiful porch and the porch gates. Our dog loved to sit out there and look around. Very safe area. Would stay here again, absolutely. The home and yard were lovely. Stores and restaurants close by. Waynesville is a beautiful town to walk around, shop, and dine. It was a great weekend, and this beautiful rental was a big part of that.
