Summary: We loved our stay at this apartment. It had everything we needed to cook simple meals if we wanted to, the shower had good water pressure and the bed was comfortable. We both enjoyed some of the best nights' sleep we'd had in a long time. The location of the apartment was perfect for us. It's near enough to Bonnieux for easy access to the supermarket, bakery and restaurants, but it also had a lovely rural feel - including a peaceful private terrace overlooking woodland.

Summary: Lovely little studio with friendly hosts at the edge of the forest, the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The host was very helpful, brought me cherries from her garden and shared a glass of wine with me. I had a lovely time here

Summary: First of all, I felt welcomed as if I was visiting the house of an old friend. Both Sylvain and Isabel are gracious and warm. They allowed me the privacy I needed and also periodically invited me to join them for a cafe or wine. Sylvain invited me to visit a local, private distillery. He also helped me ask a local person about a friend of mine who had passed away. Isabel is a musician and a retired English teacher. Both of them helped educate me about the history of Bonnieux. A few times they brought me fresh picked and perfectly ripe cherries. The lovely studio apartment was not only charming, but kind of magical. I cannot say enough compliments about my time at SILVA house in BONNIEUX. I feel very grateful! Eugenia Scott, PhD

Summary: We spent a wonderful holiday at the studio. The accommodation is spacious enough for two, clean and well equipped. The outside space is also lovely, where you can sit either in the shade or sun and feels private from the owners adjoining house. The studio is next to the forest and there is lots of wildlife around the property and in the garden. The outside grill is great for making meals. The owners are friendly and helpful, but discreet, making the experience of staying in the studio very relaxing. The studio is close to the village of Bonnieux and the enjoyable walk takes about 20 – 25 minutes. The village is a perfect choice, with plenty to see and places to eat but not too busy. The market on Friday morning is well worth visiting, as are the nearby Bories (ancient settlement) and the superb views along the road to the Cedar forest. Thank you Isabel and Sylvain for a wonderful stay.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our 6 night stay in this quiet retreat, a cosy studio at one end of Isabel's property close to the beautiful hilltop village of Bonnieux. It's a fairly basic apartment but has everything one really needs. Isabel and Sylvain were very helpful but also gave us privacy; the patio is a delightful place to sit and while away the afternoons and evenings, should you wish. Plus there are two delightful cats who like saying hello. It's about a 20-25 minute walk up to the village, which was a bit trying in the August heat sometimes, but kept us fit between delightful meals! The area is so seductive to spend time in - we'll definitely be back.

Summary: The owners were very friendly and helpful, but not intrusive at all. They kept us well supplied with figs and apples from the garden. We enjoyed watching the birds and butterflies by day and the bats and owls at night. Stunning views of the stars and Milky Way - no light interference here! It was a pleasant walk to the village- my husband managed it and he's booked in for a new knee in November. The cottage had everything we needed so we cooked most evenings, getting to grips with the electric BBQ - no fires allowed as the forest is so dry. So peaceful!

Summary: My friend and I had a wonderful 3 night stay here at Beauvisage. Although Isabel was not around during our stay, she was always easily accessible via email. Our check in process went smoothly, as her husband, Sylvain, picked us up from the bus stop at our pre-arranged time. During check out, Sylvain also drove us back to the bus stop in the early morning. The space is quite spacious with a fully stocked kitchenette and a little patio right outside the door. The bed was quite comfortable, and the thick walls kept the heat out very effectively. We found it quite easy to make the 25 minute walk to the center of Bonnieux, where we were also able to rent e-bikes to see the rest of the Lubéron region. Sylvain was a wonderful host who offered anything he thought we might need. He graciously took us to see the cedar forest after we expressed interest and gave us the option of hitching a ride with him to Apt. Our impromptu potluck picnic was the highlight of our stay, as Sylvain regaled us with his tales of the hippie era. We could not have asked for a kinder, more attentive host, and we hope to make it back someday!

Summary: This was my second visit to this sweet cottage just outside the village of Bonnieux, and again I thoroughly enjoyed every thing about it. The cottage is clean, cozy, and so very charming. The bed is comfortable with lovely bedding. The shower is perfect. New additions have been added to the kitchen which were very much appreciated. Overall, such a lovely place to relax whether indoors or outside. If only we could have stayed longer! Once again, the hosts were exceptionally thoughtful and so very kind. Thank you S & I! Hope to see you again sometime!
