3 Bedroom Villa in Rarotonga, Matavera

This home has all the attributes of a "Pacific" design- with high ceilings, exposed rafters , roof vents and ceiling fans providing cool and airy living spaces, while the modern kitchen and open dining room allow a choice of relaxed or more formal dining.
There are two queen bedrooms and one twin room . The master bedroom and twin room can share common access to the main en-suite bathroom if desired, whilst the second bathroom serves the remaining guests. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes.
The lounge provides a cosy retreat from the main living area for reading, writing, watching TV/DVD's, listening to music or just watching the ever-changing moods of the sea.
Two large bi-fold doors open from the dining area onto the expansive deck for alfresco dining, sunbathing, sunset cocktails or access to the beach. The deck can also be acesssed via large sliding doors from both the master bedroom and the lounge. Should you want a change from the beach view, you can enjoy a tropical breakfast seated at the kitchen island, with the backdrop of Rarotonga's spectacular mountains.
The town of Avarua is just 4 minutes away by car while the idyllic Muri Beach lagoon and Sailing Club are approximately 9 mins drive in the opposite direction. The round-the-island bus service stops roadside and not only is it very reliable, it's a perfect way to see the island and get your bearings when you first arrive.
In town you will find rental cars, motorcycles and bicycles, along with shops, banks, supermarkets, restaurants, cafe's etc.
Situated on Rarotonga's sunny north eastern coast " Seaspray Beach Villa" is ideally located for both privacy and convenience.

Summary: Lovely light and airy beach house, big deck looking over sheltered garden and our own private path to beach. The house was comfortable and clean, with plenty of room for the whole family ( 4 adults). Fully self contained. Good communication with helpful host. Would love to go back and stay there again!

Summary: Everything was great. Quiet spot. Very roomy house with bifold doors onto the front deck and insect screens on the windows. High ceilings and fans. We had a huge storm the first night which was very noisy with the surf against the coral - but a real experience. There is a short bush-track to the coral beach. Its not a great swimming spot out the front due to the reef but Muri Beach is near-by. Great coffee shop across the road. Didn't use the BBQ but there is one there. Good cooking facilities. Bathroom between 2 bedrooms on one side and another bathroom for the 3rd bedroom the other side. Well suited for family or group up to 6 people. Large yard. It is on the main road but set well back so not a noise problem.

Summary: A truely wonderful airy property within easy access to town and Muri beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. The villa met all our needs, and it was great to hear the sea at night (right on the beach). An added bonus were the local visiting animals (chickens and dog). Summary: We loved our stay at Sea Spray. Our three kids fell in love with the dogs, cats and chickens in the area. We loved hearing the ocean all the time and having our own space. With kids, I'd recommend a car rental for getting to MurI Beach and town. Would stay again.

Summary: Sea spray was a great place to spend our holiday. We loved it. The location was great, a short drive to anywhere, but that is the island in general really. A vehicle was definitely necessary. So close to the beach (rocky beach filled with interesting dried coral and quick crabs), we loved watching the sunrise in such a quiet spot. The house itself is well equipped and clean. The beds were comfortable. Loved the visitor book full of helpful information left by others.
