Positive: Close to the port. Don't have much choice if you want to stay outside of the port. Staffs are good and friendly
Negative: Very loud music stars from 7am to almost midnight

Positive: Good conversations with staff the place was clean and the staff were very attentive.
Negative: They should try to accommodate late check outs because it's very hard travelling after a long journey and have to check out at 12 then be on the airport for 5 hours to catch h another flight .

Positive: Great location with very friendly staff. The breakfast and lunch were very good and plenty of food for the price. Also the cable TV and hot shower was definitely a plus!!

Positive: The inn is quaint and will grow on you. The bar is small but stocked. We sat out on the second story porch a lot. Staff are very nice. Breakfast was good. Property is secure with locking entrance doors security cameras. You are in the heart of downtown Basseterre here so there are a lot of locals all around and it can be noisy. The area is safe even though it may feel intimidating at first. You are right near Point Zante so there are lots of shops and restaurants within a five minute walk. A couple blocks up toward independence square has more "dive" local shops and eateries. All in all it was a great stay. This isn't the Marriott so if you are looking for that type of thing, the Seaview may not be for you.
Negative: The beds were too hard and hurt my back.
Summary: A great place to stay to experience the local culture.
