Summary: Al and Linda are gracious hosts. From the moment we arrived we knew this property was going to give us a restful nights and amazing ocean views. We stayed in the Lodge, a one bedroom very sturdy log cabin. From the bedroom we would slide back two wooden large doors. Walk out onto the deck and see a view of the ocean with no obstructions. The Lodge was on a rocky cliff. We had a covered car parking and use of laundry. On the side porch we had a view of tree covered hills and the beach. We will be staying with Al and Linda again. Summary: Due to flight delays, we arrived very late and in darkness at the log cabin but we were metby Alastair the property owner who welcomed us and showed us around the property. The cabin is amazing, one of those few properties that make the hair on you neck stand. The amazing work that Alastair has done to construct the cabin is beyond description. The cabin is constructed of wood through out and tastefully decorated. The facilities are first class with lots of nice little touches. The curtains were drawn when we arrived but when we opened them in the morning, the secluded panaramic views of the Pacific Ocean through the feature full wall glass bedroom window were breathtaking. Our first reaction was that we had made a huge mistake, we should have booked for a week instead of 1 night. Just an incredible location and property. In the morning we thanked Alastair and Linda who showed us around there amazing property next door to the cabin. Alastair regaled us with the history of the propery and how and how long it took to construct. A very friendly gentleman.
