Positive: Location was excellent as was the house, however the slate blinds in the kitchen were very hard to pull up and down. We left the place very clean and tidy but were unable to get the blinds down.
Negative: We loved the house, complimentary coffee, cooking facilities, pressure of the shower, heaters and electric blankets, location to the ocean, harbour and shops, lovely neighbours, plenty of towels too.
Summary: One of the best accommodation's I have stayed in, exceptional! Would love to stay again.

Positive: Ex location, comfortable beds, sea view. Comfortable sitting room. Heating in all bedrooms. Heat pump was on, on arrival, much appreciated Thankyou.
Negative: Heat pump in the hall not going which would have made a big difference. We didn’t find info regarding rubbish disposal/ bins out?
Summary: Very pleasant stay for four couples.

Negative: The main bathroom is quite small and it took a bit to warm up, although once it had heated up it was cosy and warm
Summary: We enjoyed the space of this villa and the views are stunning! We would stay here again!

Negative: The bed in main bedroom backed on to a open fire place. It would have been more comfortable if the fireplace had been boarded up but keeping the mantle piece as is.

Positive: Great views. Beds were really comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. It had some lovely touches around the place like plants and pieces of art. There was a good range of heating options and the electric blankets were a nice touch. There was a great window sofa with a view of the Harbour and ocean. Great location and close to town.
Negative: There wasn't really anything we didn't like. The house was cool at points during our stay but that's the nature of old houses in NZ. There were effective heating options so it warmed up quickly.

Positive: Wow, wow, wow what an amazing surprise. I thought we had rented a reproduction house, but it was a stunningly beautiful old Victorian house of huge proportions! Huge country kitchen with extra large stove, 2 bathrooms one with claw foot bath and beautiful ornate fireplaces and ceiling roses throughout. Amazing views of the sea and wharf. Plenty of room, and walking distance to the town and wharf. I did not want to leave ! My dream home for sure !
Negative: Only being there for one night, should have stayed a week....Amazing

Positive: Loved the location - close walk to the Historic precinct. Well appointed with all conveniences in the kitchen, beautifully decorated and large enough for finding your own spot to relax inside or on the large deck with comfy outdoor furniture. Great that our dog was allowed and well fenced and set up for this.
Negative: The main bedroom has the head of the bed in the old original fireplace, which was a little bit strange but not terrible with pillows against it.
Summary: Relaxing stay in gorgeous well-appointed old villa close to all attractions in Historic precinct.
