This great two (2) bedroom, two (2) bath fully furnished ground floor rental unit is situated in the quaint Settlement of Cherokee Sound on Great Abaco one of the largest Islands in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and a stone throw away from the famous Pete's Pub Restaurant at Little Harbor and the resort at Winding Bay. Spectacular views from this unit include the well-known Long Dock, the Bridge Creek not to speak of the beach and the beautiful many shades of the blue and green water leading to the ocean in the distance. The unit includes all linens, three (3) televisions with basic Cable TV channels, full kitchen, which has a dish washer, air-conditioning in all rooms and an indoor washer and dryer. A two (2) person Kayak, an outdoor shower and BBQ grill are also available not to speak of a standby generator. Imagine sitting on the porch of this Bahamian style unit with gingerbread railings, enjoying a cool drink while lapping up the beautiful ocean views with the unmatched tranquility and bird life. Bone fishing and deep sea fishing trips are also available with local residents on a year round basis.

Summary: Great spot. Better communication would have been soooooo helpful. It’s 45 minutes from most things. Place was locked up when we got there.

Summary: The house is beautiful and well equipped. There was a problem with the refrigerator and it was replaced within hours of reporting the problem. The view is spectacular! We will definitely rent this house again

Summary: In the past trips we've always loved coming to Cherokee sound for the day. But nothing compares to staying here full time. This house was perfect! The Pinders were beyond accommodating to our group! We also rented the house next door because we had 8 people (4 couples). This trip exceeded our expectations! Even on there holiday Jan 1st they made themselves available to help us with a minor shower head issue. They rushed over and replaced the shower head so that we would never be uncomfortable. Waking up to such a beautiful view is priceless! We will definitely be striving to rent this house again!

Summary: Sea View has everything any vacationer could want, including (and in Cherokee, this is huge) a washer/dryer. But that gives short shrift to the comfortable beds and linens, the fluffy towels, the well-stocked kitchen, and maybe best of all, a front porch that looks directly to the ocean. We never needed a/c, as the breezes off the sea always kept us cool. I would highly recommend this property to any discerning vacationer.

Summary: This was our first time visiting Cherokee Sound. I spent a lot of time reading online about Abaco, Marsh Harbour and Cherokee Sound and still I was not sure of what to expect. Our time in Cherokee was more than we ever could have expected. It was so relaxing and peaceful, we had a very hard time leaving. ALL of the locals were very helpful and friendly. Seaview Villas was the prefect house for us! It accommodated 6 adults that were on our trip! The house is right on the beach and just a few steps away from the long dock. Every morning we had coffee on the long dock and caught the sunset on the long dock every evening. We spent the majority of our days on the beach and in the water. In front of the house there is a tree that has a lot of shade under it and we found ourselves spending a lot of time under it because the view was just spectacular. Pete's pub was just a short drive and is a must if you are in the area. The kitchen in the house is fully equipt. We picked up groceries at Maxwells before driving into Cherokee and picked up more mid-week at the Cherokee Food Fair. The property managers (Lee and Dan) were great to work with and live not far down the road! When we first booked this house in Cherokee we were planning to spend a lot of time island hopping but we ended up never leaving Cherokee Sound! We will without a doubt be visiting Seaview Villas again!
