Summary: Outside was deceiving and we thought we accidentally went to wrong place but when we got inside it is fully renovated and very clean and new. I usually bring my own hairdryer but they had a regular full due in the room. Oversized towels. Netflix on smart TV. Easy to use thermostat. Friendly staff. The rooms all face the same way and no ocean view but that was ok because the ocean is pretty well right out the door. Very nice stay!

Summary: Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Room was clean and big enough for our needs. Bed was comfortable. Ideal location. Close to sea wall, shopping and restaurants. Parking easy Will use this again

Summary: This hotel is currently undergoing a much needed facelift. Our room had been redone. The space was clean albeit a bit stark. It could have used some artwork on the walls to make it feel less clinical. Perhaps this is still in the works with the renos. There were two other thigg by s that were a bit odd; the baseboard heat in the bathroom is right below the cabinet so when it’s on, the stone counter for the vanity gets quite hot, and the “curtain” was an accordion style piece of cloth which was taped to the window from the top. There was no way to open the curtain. We ordered dinner in from the restaurant next door which was decent. They were very accommodating for our dog and only charged us a $20 dog fee which is pretty reasonable.

Summary: Room was clean, batheroom was lovely and had very nice products, staff at check in/out were nice. Location was great! Looks like the renovations aren't completely finished as our room needed proper window coverings, matching bedside lamps (one was truly awful!), had no wall decorations of any sort and needed another lamp in the corner as it was a very dark room. Bed was comfortable but it made a clanging down when you got i and out which was odd, like someone banging a steel drum. The chairs looked nice but needed tightening as they rocked side to side if you moved.

Summary: We have stayed here at the Driftwood now Sechelt Inn several times and have always been happy. The location is wonderful and the staff are pleasant. We noticed they had done some renovations which is great but the floorboards in our room were sticking up all over the place and the room smelled like a used life jacket. Also the heat/ac unit is extremely loud and the bed was not comfortable at all. But as far as motels are concerned it’s a very nice option especially if you have a pet.
