Summary: We were excited to find a cute little cabin to spend the weekend relaxing with our dogs. It was advertised as having a fenced in dog run, fire pit, covered porch, etc. all of which was true except that they were not well maintained and somewhat misrepresented. When we pulled up, there was a large pile of cardboard boxes- some broken down, some not with a poor, dying field mouse on top. It appeared to have been poisoined and this caused us to worry about if there was more poison somewhere that our dogs could get to. The bottom of the fenced in dog needed to be reinforced because it could easily be pushed out from the inside. We found cinder blocks on the property to put around the outside of the fence. Once we let our dogs in through the little ramp, we realized that there was no gate or opening that a human could fit through so no picking up any dog poop or grabbing them if they didn't come back up the crickidy ramp. We stopped using it after that. The fire pit was full of brush and branches and bricks which had fallen in. We wanted to make a fire and realized that we had to clean it all out first. Thankfully it rained before we went to all of that effort. The porch furniture cushions were full of dirt and bird poop. The porch was full of unused stuff like a countertop and pieces of wood. The inside was cute and functional but outside of the property was trashed. Also, the image of the cabin made it look secluded but it was right next to a busy road. Yuck. Won't do it again.
