Two bedroom, cozy and comfortable, carriage house flat, totally independent with own deck and patio, complete with barbecue. Rented by retired couple who respect renters privacy and are close by to help if problems should arise.
Conveniently located within walking distance, approximately 5 - 10 minutes, to beautiful, North Shore beach (Ross Lane) with lifeguards. Close to many beautiful golf courses, nice restaurants, summer theatre, deep sea fishing, lobster pound, fishing wharf and entertainment. Very secluded and private, charming. Great spot for a couple. Sleeps 2 very comfortably.
New construction - two bedrooms, one bathroom (shower only), kitchen equipped with dishwasher, microwave, toaster/ convection oven and amenities. Private deck, ground level patio with barbecue, table & chairs, and Muskoka chairs. Parking available close to cottage.
Carriage house flat is located on 1 acre lot surrounded by trees, very secluded.

Summary: I was looking for a quiet place away from the noise and I really found the perfect location 10 minutes from the beach, twenty minutes from Charlottetown and I wasn't looking for something too big and it was perfect. The owner was very welcoming and explained everything well to her entourage. I'm definitely going back next year. She speaks English and French.

Summary: Nice cottage in a great location. Perfect for those who want to explore the beaches of The Park and the Island. Our hosts were very friendly and quick to respond to questions. They had several great suggestions for local restaurants and entertainment as well.

Summary: The property was just as described. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. Everything was there for us. Beach a short walk away. Quiet and relaxing time was had. Hosts were exceptional and very accomodating. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: The cottage is really nice and located in a quiet place. We appreciated having 2 bedrooms, instead of the more common pullout solution. Also a small refrigerator/freezer instead of the typical mini fridge/freezer. One thing that maybe not be clear from the description is that the apartment is on the second floor of the property (above the garage), so you do have to climb, on the flip side the view is nice, the deck is high, and nothing is going to come up and bother you (except mosquitoes maybe). The Stanhope area is quiet, but very well located on the island. The beach is nearby, and you can either drive (pay for daily pass to access this Park Canada area), or an easy 10 minutes hike through a small path. Whether you chose to pay or walk, it's totally worth it. The stars of this place are Ellen and Rob. They are really helpful, gave plenty of recommendations, even in real-time when we texted to say we were going to be behind schedule coming in and that we were looking for a place to eat in Charlottetown... We were not disappointed. Both the cottage in our hosts made for a very pleasant stay in PEI.

Summary: We had a wonderful family getaway in Stanhope. Our hosts were lovely and gave many very helpful suggestions on the area, sightseeing and dining. The cottage itself was SPOTLESS! It’s a very nice, secluded area. Definitely buggy at night, but the whole island seems to be. Cottage location was perfect for our exploring. Short drive to Charlottetown, close to amenities and lots of towns to visit between 20min and 1 hour drive. It was a great central point for seeing new parts of PEI (for us). We were also travelling with our toddler. The area is silent at night and she slept like a dream. Bonus! Can’t wait to return to Stanhope. Highly recommended
