6 Bedroom Villa in Montseret, Montséret

Hill top villa 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa with magnificent views over the village to one side and vine yards to the other. Numerous terraces on each side of the property with secluded garden and pool. The Pool area - consists of an indoor/outdoor eating area, BBQ and Summer Kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer. A new toilet and shower has been installed next to the pool. The pool area is fully secured by a fence and doors. There is a full size Pool Table and all weather Table tennis and a Piano! Wifi is throughout the house and pool area and has been upgraded to `Whole Home Wifi' and Montseret benefits from high speed wifi.
Heading to Net Zero - Solar Panels have been installed, very discreetly, generating up to 6 KWh when the sun shines - which it does most of the time!
The bedroom configuration makes the house ideal for families sharing. With 3 Master Bedrooms, each with full baths and shower ensuite and 3 other bedrooms more suited for children. Adjoining one of the master bedrooms is a twin bedded room. The other two bedrooms, one accessed via the other, share a shower room and tend to form the children's quarter! The bedroom configuration means it is not suitable for 10 or more adults.
One of the master bedrooms has access to the 'village' terrace and has been enjoyed by Grand Parents on 3 generation holidays!
The kitchen in the main house is fully equipped with dish washer and American Fridge/Freezer with an inbuilt ice maker. The kitchen has a good supply of herbs and spices. An adjacent utility room is equipped with a washing machine and tumble drier.
The kitchen leads through to the Dining Room which in turn leads through to the lounge and further reception rooms.

Summary: We were a group of three families - six adults and six children (4-13). This property suited us very well - each adult couple had a spacious bedroom with en suite. All mod cons with great WiFi. Outside kitchen was a real asset. Pool was great and gardens were so pretty. Cannot fault the property. We were very sad to leave. NB the property owner and respective managers need to be mentioned - communication and support was excellent (we arranged cleaning mid stay which is highly recommended as the house is big!). Cycle Aventure in Gruissan also excellent for bike hire (booking essential). Otherwise the incredible online house manual (which is emailed immediately prior to your stay) provides all necessary information. Cannot recommend enough - this house (and the service provided) has set the bar very high!

Summary: Have just returned from a wonderful family holiday in Le Moulin with 11 people - 3 generations. The villa is fantastic, equipped to a very high standard. Indoor accommodation superb. Pool table and piano much used and appreciated. Outdoor space and swimming pool amazing. Whether we wanted to play table tennis or boules or find a quiet shady spot to read, there was always somewhere to find in the lovely gardens. Loved the arched walkway between the house and the well equipped summer kitchen and pool, where we spent most of our evenings barbecuing and eating en famille . The villa is in a very peaceful setting with beautiful views all around . Our family enjoyed days at beautiful Leucate plage, historic Carcassonne, lunch at the canal du Midi, dinner in Calicots in Fabrezan.... It's such a beautiful villa in a beautiful area and we highly recommend it.

Summary: Lovely spacious property with excellent facilities. Pool area with outside kitchen is ideal and was fully utilised. Well kept gardens with numerous seating areas and terraces to chase the sun or shade. Great village location with stunning views in all directions from its elevated position. House has everything required for a great family or group holiday - just add sun and wine. Village shop is useful and there is a wine 'cave' selling the agreeable local plonk at very good prices. Surrounded by vineyards and plenty of wine tasting opportunities at the producers' doorstep. Short drive to some lovely beaches, mountainous countryside and Narbonne. Only lacking a village tabac/bar for an afternoon 'biere pression'. Owner is helpful and easy to deal with as is the local key holder. Highly recommended.

Summary: Photos and details on the website are very accurate but the house surpasses the photos. It is a great house for a couple, or even three, families. Lots of space and very well equipped. Spent most of our time in and around the pool area and ate most of our meals there. Very good BBQ. Took in some of the sights - Abbeys and Cathar Castles but preferred the great choice of restaurants - two in the village. Would recommend to friends and family.
