One bed room has two separate sets of twin bunk beds and the other has a full size bed. The property is surrounded by federal national forest property, which is all yours to explore. The large outside stone patio is just waiting for you to kick back and relax with your family and friends. There are several lakes in the area along with Woodland Lake that is very close and has a public access boat launch and a nice beach with a playground across the street from the beech. For your convenience, the bathroom has a washer and dryer. The TV in the living room receives local channels and a DVD player is provided. Several games await you to keep the whole family entertained. Please note, to ensure your rustic stay, there is no air conditioning or WiFi so that you can fully indulge in a peaceful stay.

Summary: The place was dirty. There were no lights we had to buy light bulbs. The screens and windows were broken. There were no paper towels or hand towels. Very disappointed in property.

Summary: This property is perfect for a north woods getaway. No visible neighbors, beautiful fire pit with paved sidewalk to house. beds were comfortable, shower works well and there’s a washer and dryer included. The “road” to the house is a two track and may be difficult for low cars. My all wheel drive SUV and my friends pickup truck had no issues. Please pay attention to owners directions as GPS does not take you to the house. Ferris st. Doesn’t exist on Google or Apple Maps. A quick phone call and the owner gave us directions and stayed on the phone with us until we reached the house. I highly recommend this listing!

Summary: Nothing to complain about, everything was as described. This home is literally in the middle of a federal forest. What a great area to spend a week end. Bonfire pit was a perfect touch. Great memories.

Summary: The house was clean with a well equipped kitchen. It also has a nice patio & fire pit. It is located off the beaten path & is a bit hard to find (especially ion the dark), but the owner provided excellent directions. Our group of 4 guys was there for 3-days of fishing on the nearby Pere Marquette River and it served as a great base camp.
