Summary: The property and surrounding area are GEMS. The view from the cabin is outstanding and so are the stars on clear nights. Issues we had: almost all day and all night the kennel down the street had a lot of barking dogs, and ruined the peacefulness that could have been the porch. The AC units would throw error codes, and we'd follow instructions, but then they wouldn't turn back on or just stopped the AC- which made the cabin very hot. I'm glad we stayed in March, otherwise it would have been boiling inside the cabin. The bedskirt on the bed upstairs was very stained and needs washed. The cabin needed dusted pretty badly. The railing of part of the porch near the fire pit area is very loose and needs repaired before someone gets hurt. Overall, communication with the host was phenomenal and it was a very well stocked cabin. We would stay again. There are a few improvements that could be made.

Summary: This was the second time the wife and I came to Ridge Runners for a weekend getaway. We love the property and we love the area. Cynthia is a wonderful host, very responsive and the property is exactly as advertised. It’s a quaint, quiet, out of the way place to unwind and relax. 5-stars all the way around and we will be back again!
