Located on a perfect Pedernales River perch, this completely renovated Airstream is just the place for a truly romantic getaway! Boasting desert-themed decor with orange, yellow, and green splashes of colors throughout, you will be able to slip right into vacation mode in no time. After days of exploring the surrounding area, throw on a favorite record on the turntable, and cook up a delicious meal on the adorable kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge, stove, and oven. When the sun starts to dip towards the horizon, throw on a swimsuit and soak in the plunge pools offering an uninterrupted view of the river and valley below. With no WiFi, this will be just the place to get away from it all and simply enjoy your favorite person's company!
Tucked away from it all, you will have no problem getting some much-needed peace and quiet here! When you want to venture out a bit, head over to Pace Bend Park for hiking, swimming, fishing, rock climbing, and more just 13 miles away! Summary: The airstream is unique I'll give it that much. We struggled getting the door open and figuring out the lock. Better instructions could've made it easier for us. Inside wasn't so clean, there were dead bugs on the couch and splattered along walls and ceiling. The kettle was left with water in it as well. Our first day there we had no hot water in the shower, that wasn't so great. The view is wonderful overlooking the river, but there is no access to the actual river so it is a big tease. Also we left the property super early due to the air conditioning not being able to cool the small sized RV. Overall it was not so great. Lots of bugs, door has problems closing and just wasn't what we expected. That's just the flat out truth.

Summary: We had a lovely relaxing and romantic week. The view of the river and decor style of the airstream was perfect. We were just disappointed about information that was left out of the description that wouldโ€™ve been very helpful to know ahead of time. The most annoying was the fact that thereโ€™s no hot water. It wouldโ€™ve been ideal to know the property has absolutely no access to the river. We had plan to spend time in the river so we brought pop up tent for shade and water toys. They came in handy for the pool because thereโ€™s absolutely no shade or privacy from the neighbors. We shaded the pool and pinned up flags and table cloths to build a privacy wall. The pool is almost directly under the balcony of the neighbors house. The other neighboring homes were under construction so lots of people very close during the days. Even though we made our own solution, that issue is frustrating because we asked specifically about privacy especially the view of the pool. The small things: we wouldโ€™ve loved to have had a small broom and dust pan to clean up during the week. It rained almost every day and there lots of water leaks so it would be good to have kitchen towels and instructions or rules on how to take care of issues like cleaning, which trash cans to use, pool care, etcโ€ฆ The place and location were lovely, I just expected a bit more basic comforts and or info for such a high nightly rate.

Summary: The view and location were great. However, for almost $700 for a two night stay, we expected more. The management company (Vacasa) did not call as promised with information on coffee maker. Since it was not provided on the listing, we thought it reasonable to ask what type of coffee we needed to bring. The freezer was broken. A Yeti was provided, but it would have been nice to know before arrival that we needed to bring ice as purchase was a 40โ€ round trip. The shower does not drain. Only two bath towels, one hand towel, and one washcloth were provided for two people for two days. Personally, I donโ€™t like sharing wash cloths! No firewood for the fire pit. Advertised record player needs a new needle- this was noted several times in the guest book and on previous online posts! Only one small oven suitable pan. Lastly, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There were many other issues (photos available) and we mentioned all these items in our personal review to Vacasa who has has not responded. Posting online so that others can be aware. The owners would be better serviced (and obviously net more money) by managing themselves. Maybe they will repair all the electrical outlets that are hanging out of the walls?
