Summary: Had a lovely time in Reedville! House was great and stocked with essentials, and we had a fabulous time floating the kayaks around and fishing. Communication, check in, check out all fantastic!! Will come again

Summary: We had a great time kayaking, fishing, catching crabs and eating outside with our family under the picnic table. We didn’t get a chance to use the firepit but we really appreciate that there are firewood available to use. The house is was perfect for my family. I’m glad that even though it’s an older home, the bathrooms and bedrooms were updated. My mom and sisters who came with us really enjoyed the stay too. The host were great and awesome too. Quick on responding too.

Summary: Overall its a great place to stay. Just a few issues. The water pressure in both showers isnt very good (might just be the shower head as it has 100 holes) and the shower door in the main bathroom leaks at the bottom. We couldnt get the karoake machine to work, but the rest of the game room is awesome. The canoe and kayaking were awesome too and they have several life vests. Overall, we did enjoy our stay!

Summary: We were booked to go to OBX, but the snowstorm changed that...so plan B! Plan B was a fantastic choice...great place to chill out, drink wine, dance and relax by the bonfire! Hosts were very quick to respond to emails, the beds were comfy and the kitchen stocked! I'd love to come back (I live in Oregon) and bring my grandsons here this Summer!

Summary: House has lots of amenities. Great location on creek with abundance of fish. One downfall- mattresses need upgraded. Everything else was awesome!

Summary: This vacation house was perfect for our family. We loved the location. We enjoyed kayaking every day and fishing. It was nice sitting down by the water around the fire pit, after a long day. The game room was an added bonus. We can’t wait to come back again sometime.

Summary: Our first time on the Northern Neck My only real complaint is beyond the homeowners' control but warrants a mention: There are days when the air stinks. Reedville is home to Omega Protein, a huge fish processor. When the wind blows the wrong way, and the plant is operating, the air is nearly unbearable, especially combined with heat and humidity. For us this was three days out of the week. Wasn't a problem on the weekend. Other than that, it was great. Property is pretty. Lots of birds, kayaking and swimming were great. We saw no jellyfish. House is comfortable and well-equipped. Only a few minor issues: master shower leaks onto the floor, air hockey table doesn't really work, and if there was a salt shaker in the house I couldn't find it.
