Positive: I was expecting a Hotel but instead this was a room in a private apartment and the landlord wasn't there when I arrived. I was left standing out in the street and I didn't see the name of the hotel anywhere on the building. To be fair I had received an email message asking my arrival time but I hadn't seen it because I was walking the Via Francigena, not reading emails. I didn't know how long it would take me to get there anyway, When I did finally call the property, the lady didn't speak much English but I was able to understand she would be there in 5-10 minutes. She arrived and all was well.

Negative: Had trouble with one of the keys and locks. One of the other customers staying in a different room had to let me back into the building.

Positive: It was clean, also the shared bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Room had a balcony. Quiet neighborhood.

Negative: Very thin walls. When the neighbor watched television or had a phone call, it was clearly present. If someone used the hairdryer also. No lift; means that you had to climb three stories. Shared bathroom (but this was known before). Overpriced.
