Nestled within rich farmland, this 2.5 acre property provides plenty of room for children and pets to explore. The owners also live on the property and enjoy hosting visitors and making sure their stay is a pleasant one. With views of the Ovens Valley and Mount Buffalo from both bedrooms and living areas, this comfortable apartment has a dining area and kitchenette with fridge, benchtop oven/hotplates, and microwave. The accessible bedroom has a queen size electric adjustable bed and the second bedroom has a double bed with an optional additional single bed. The accessible bathroom has an open roll-in shower area with fold-down shower seat. The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to four guests and has a weber for cooking outdoors. Summary: A comfortable place to stay. Has a great bathroom if you're awheelie and unlike a lot of other wheelchair friendly places you don't have to move furniture out of the way. However it is not without faults in this regard and if you are independent and want to get away on your own, it may have some annoyances. The kitchen (local council must be slack to allow them to actually have any kitchen) has a push under sink but is so shallow you end up wetter than dishes, there are no fitted appliances but a microwave and plug in electric oven. There is a two burner plug in electric stove top that sits on the bench, it sits quite high and therefore difficult to manage if you are seated. There is a night adjustable bench but the cooker would not reach to this Whilst l said the bathroom was good, there is a window of plain glass looking into the garage of the owner. Not that we ever expected any one to look in, we hung a towel over the window for privacy sake Not the easiest place to push around outside if you are self propelled. However will add that my partner, who is in a wheelchair is having a shoulder operation in next few days and therefore not of full strength in the arms The owners live above, which you may or indeed may not like. Pets are allowed, however the owner did say not the best for escape artist and this is true. But larger breed should be fine, was told a few weeks before we arrived a six foot four inch brown snake was killed on,(or perhaps spotted) the drive. So pet owner be ware We had a lovely time in the area, but would we stay there again, toss of the coin, but probably not, this is in a wheelchair perspective, for able bodied person l have no qualms in recommending

Summary: Stayed for 4 nights with my elderly parents. The disabled bathroom and electric bed were perfect for my wheelchair bound Mum. Loved waking up to amazing views. Easy access in and around house. House open plan, plenty of room to manoeuvre a wheelchair. Flat ground to enter house and carport right there. Loved the furniture. Easy 12 minute drive to Bright.
