Positive: The Hotel is about a 20 min walk from the main centre and 45 mins walk from the Alhambra and Albaicin Quarter but taxis are plentiful. The room is large with good amenities and the bed is comfy. I booked a 90 minute session in their Spa before arrival and the pools are gorgeous. The steam rooms were not hot enough for me but the sauna was! I stayed 3 nights before moving on.
Negative: I found the staff dismissive and did not get the welcome I have come to expect in Spain. Noone was rude per say but just not particularly helpful. I wanted an iron on arrival, I had to give a 20 Euro deposit before it was handed over and was told the ironing board would be put in my room by Housekeeping. After a day it never arrived so I gave back the iron….. on the day of departure check out is until 12 and at 10.50 the room staff knocked asking what time I was going, which on its own is ok but in conjunction with all the other interactions with staff it felt very impersonal. If you just are passing through its fine, but the hospitality is lacking.

Positive: The room was clean and comfy, not too big, but enough for a short stay. Spa is very nice, saunas would use some maintenance, but the pools are amazing! Warm water and quite a few different pools.
Negative: There is an additional charge for the spa in the afternoon.
